I just had a very sweet person come visit my room. She said that a character came into her room accusing her of stealing his idea just because she had a fireplace in her room. He then said he heard that someone else has a room similar to his (which if having to do with fire, must be me) and is going from room to room searching. I never stole anyone's idea and if someone has one like me, so be it. I just think it is silly that someone is being so accusatory and is looking for me!! hehe. The ugly side of the game is showing face.

I guess I will have to use that ignore and boot button some time in the near future.

Gingerbread House competition during the holiday season...well, I suppose there's a chance that others just might use holiday/gingerbread items or themes.

To me, that's all this competition is: Gingerbread and Holiday Items.

If and when I see something different (antjewel, for instance), I'm overjoyed! Let those who think their ideas are "patented" get an ignore-button feast.

Jegrezo was nice to stop in my room and fill the "sort of newbie" in on the "fun" aspects of vmk contests. As this is my first, I had not idea what to expect. After laughing at her comments in which she warned me about the silly things people would say, GoofyGeggy came in and shared his own too. So yes, the boot button and a couple of good laughs are probably in my future. And if the guy who is out looking for me comes in to visit...what is the worst he can do?

ok, I'm just going to go ahead and admit - I too have a fire place...sorry.
By the way this isn't even close to ugly, these always get ugly given enough time. I have seen long time friends no longer speak and all sorts of shananigans to try to disrupt rooms and stuff. You have to let all this stuff roll off you.

(Oh I tried not to use too much gingerbread so you would not notice the fireplace)

I was in a king's room and a girl came in saying she was helping out the host. She told king that his room may not qualify for judging since it has other items that were not gingerbread or holiday. All this, while standing in his room that had a gingerbread house, christmas stuff, and holiday items from other holidays. I just had to chuckle. People are so competitive!
