The Tonight Show taping

We're back from a week in the Southland. Walked our feet OFF! in Disneyland and California Adventure. Took it easy at the end of the week, going to Universal Studios. On Friday, we took the NBC tour and then got in the line for the Tonight Show taping. Taping is from 4:30 - 5:30 and we were in line by 1:45. I had ordered tix months ago, but apparantly you can get in line for tix at dawn on the day you want to go and come back later to wait in line. They keep that studio COLD! I had heard that Letterman's studio in NY is kept cold - but it was 60 degrees in there! Dennis Miller was the first guest - then Jena Malone (from the new movie "Saved") and a country singer that I'd never heard of: Gretchen Wilson - she was good! Good to go away - good to be home!

I saw a taping a couple years ago. I don't remember the cold. What I do remember is how much my aunt enjoyed it. She is a big fan!
