The thread full of complaints

I have a couple more:

I have a headache that's lasted 3 days.
We got a bill in the mail from an ER visit almost 3 months ago!! :furious:
I hate not having insurance!!

Seems we get one step ahead and then fall back two. Stop the world I wanna get off!!

I really shouldn't, but here goes....

My mom - the 76 year old Bridezilla. My siblings and I have been planning a 50th Anniversary party for what seems like forever and mom is driving us all nuts. The list of "must have's" has been endless.

The icing on the cake was today's mandate. DS (who is only 4, BTW) must wear a gold tie for the party because it's the golden anniversary. Now, there are 19 grandchildren in all and 3 great-grandchildren. I don't know if anybody else got the orders, but now I guess I have to go out searching for a gold tie - with only 3 shopping days left.

I am sooooooooo going to drink my $1500 worth on Friday!!!!!!

I like you. I was all set to post my complaint and then I read this and I can't stop laughing. A gold tie for a 4 year old ... you might be better off going to the Rag Shop, getting gold lame, and asking a tailor to whip up a tie!!! I will also be drinking my $250 gift and $68 per person train tickets' worth while at a wedding on Friday!!!

On the plus side, we are taking a short trip to Toronto since we so need some time away as a family. The trip is not really in the budget but I won't tell anyone on the budget board.

I like you too. That's refreshing honesty!

Sadly, no time to go to a tailor either! Three stores visited tonight - number of gold, clip-on, 4 year-old appropriate ties - 0.

Go on. Post your complaint! Although, $250 for a wedding gift plus another $70 to get there would be enough for me to complain about!

P.S. IIRC, your wedding's in the winter. You're not going all Bridezilla, are ya? Save it for your 50th...if you ask my mom, it's much more fun driving your kids nuts than your parents.

Yes, I have one complaint...

Republicans.

I am finished. Thank you.

That brings to mind another one of my pet peeves...LIBERALS. Thank you and have a nice day.

My parents haven't reached their 50th anniversary yet, but I just wanted to agree that my parents also would say its MUCH more fun driving their kid (me) nuts.

I'm glad people like the thread. :)

My complaint for the day...my parents watch my DDs 2 days a week (thats not the complaint), but every time they do, my DDs have no space around them! They hover over every little thing they do, they talking during the shows, sing during the commercials, talk to them every second while they eat, DDs have to sit on their laps to eat as well. aahhh, it would drive me nuts if I were DDs. And I can tell it annoys them sometimes cuz they can't even hear the shows they're watching! Anyway, thats mine for the day.

I'm upset about a story I posted on the CB and no one replied about it. My first one was a hit, thread went about 3 pages, the next one....BOMB! Hurt my feelings, oh well. :guilty:

:thumbsup2 My husband is lazy and I can no longer take it. Today I've woken up early for the dogs, got the kids up and dressed, made breakfast, made lunch for the big kid, took him to camp, worked from home and dealt with not only my job but my co workers, cleaned the dishes, laundry and vaccummed, picked the kid up from camp (20 miles each way) and worked some more. Not only that I seem to be the only one who worries about the bills and the house. I think I'm going to run away for my birthday next week and go to the spa. I deserve it!

as a newbie here, I'll keep my complaintes limited.

but I as well am sick of all this RAIN!

Hello Community board!! :wave2:

:furious: My neighbors who are SLOBS and that they have only cut their lawn once this year and seem to be letting it die so they never have to cut it again. :confused3
:furious: Oh, and their kids playing all over my property and lawn cuz their's has soooo much dog s**t on it(and the worst is after I've spent 3 hours-mowing,edging,blowing,watering)-then they play :furious: :furious: :furious: on it!!!

I am sick of this rain......

Any reason why we have a thread all about complaining, when there are so many other threads that have complaints?????? :badpc:

;)

We have had the grandkids since June 18. They called their mother last night, she has only called once in reply to my call to see if she had sent grandson's phone charger, (no, she has been to busy), DGD talked for about a minute, DGS about 2 minutes and then their mother had to go because she was "cleaning". DGD was almost in tears and sad all last night. I am still wondering what she was doing that was so important she couldn't talk to her kids for more than 3 minutes :confused3

My sister said some woman are mothers, others just have children. The kids are 11 and 12 and my DH and I have just decided to keep them all summer if they want to stay.

I just want to say thank you to you for all you are doing to make a difference in your grandbabies life. They will remember this!!

What a special lady you are!!

Nope. Anyone who does a repetitive motion can get it. You heard about it in older people first becuase they used computers and typewriters a lot more than the younger people.

I recommend this wrist rest and one for your mouse as well.
Thanks. I've got a wirst rest, but I've not been using it. I'll get it back out.

Thank you for the kind words. :goodvibes We had them last summer for 4 weeks and I worried so when they went home because they left them alone all day, we would have kept them longer but they had to go home to visit her parents. They are being really good this year but I just don't think an 11 and 12 year old should be home alone. Their Dad is starting a new job on a riverboat and will work 20 days and be off 10 days. I just hope it all works out. But unless their mother insists they come home (no date has really be discussed) we will let them stay as long as they want.

All of our socks are gone!! And our radio station hasn't started playing the new Gretchen Wilson song even though it has been out since June 12th!
