The thread full of complaints

I bought these really cute shoes and they don't fit. The next size up is too big. They need to make 1/4 sizes.

I want to move, can't afford to move and now my 2 close girlfriends are single, yet manage to find new guys likethat and I haven't had a date since August. Oh and one of them is smokin hot so when we go out I know no one is going to even give me the time of day. She can't help it, and I still love her. /sigh.

Dh is B-U-S-Y with work right now...and who am I to complain, that extra time he is putting in for the next month will pay off in deals won which pays off in commision which puts me under the Welcome to WDW sign in about 2 and 1/2 months. I am just sick of taking care of everything myself...again, not really his fault, he is super busy and work and recovering from knee surgery...I am just tired and tired of being tired and tired of myself being tired of being tired of being tired!! UGH!

I can COMPLETELY sympathize with you Jaycns!! My DH is doing the same thng - busting his hump for the family and making money, more than we have ever had before. Its just sucks when its left up to us to carry on like nothing is out of whack. I sometimes think I am selfish for wanting him home, and I am sick of being the strong one - carrying on like nothing is wrong, Damn him/them for leaving the weight of the world on our shoulders! At least its not just me in this situation - it could be far worse, but it could be far easier too!

:grouphug: ~*~ HUGS ~*~ to everyone having a Rough Day out there is DisBoards Land! Tomorrow is a new day! And hopefully the sun will be shining! :sunny: :thumbsup2

I am so sick of the constant rain! I don't mind an occasional summer thunderstorm, but we're going on the third day of constant rain. It breaks enough for my son to be able to have his morning swim practice, which is good, but then starts by mid-morning and is a hard, driving rain all day. We've had inches and inches of rain. I'm finding my sun lamp for today!

Then my DH's job sucks and he's in a sour mood that spills over into his daily life, but that's a whole 'nuther thread, which I won't start! He was better yesterday since I read him the riot act the day before. :furious:

I am so POed at DS girlfriend. She FORGOT his birthday yesterday. We called him yesterday and sang to him over the phone and when we got done I could tell something was wrong. I asked him what was wrong and he said his GF didn't even wish him a happy birthday. I tried to get her off the hook and say maybe she hadn't called yet, no he had talked to her 3 times already. Did she do something while you were home like give you a card before you left. No. What really ticked him off was his dentist sent him an email to wish him a happy birthday. (Our dentist is military so he has always gone the extra mile with DS sending emails and care packages) He couldn't believe his dentist would remember his birthday but not his GF.

I called him this am at 4:30 before he left for work and asked what had happened and he said she was sorry, she just got busy and forgot?!?!?!?!!

Im tired. Im sick of getting up every morning, and going into work. And the thought of having to do so every day for the next 30+ years (excluding weekends) sadden's me. Why couldnt *I* be born into the Hilton family? I'm sick of working. I think it could be the customer-service aspect ....Way too much, for too long. Ive been a stylist, server, bartender and now tech-support. I need a job where I can sit in a room and not be disturbed with ridiculous requests, comments, and questions. LEAVE ME ALONE! :furious:

Wow! PHEW! Thanks!!! That felt good. :joker:

Thanks for sending the rays of sunshine this moring, Nancy! :sunny: I thought of you this orning when DS3 woke me up and the bedroom was filled with SUN LIGHT!!! YAY!! It were short lived, but hope the rays will soon be out again before the day is over.... But at least its not raining.......... :woohoo: Yet.

Our rain is back already--we just got back from swim practice and it started. :sad2: Really, enough is enough! If I don't check in for a few hours it will be because I'm helping build the ark!

I try not to complain. But I have to get this off my chest today or I am going to explode.

I am tired. I have worked 17 straight days without a day off. Working 2 jobs. Working all night all weekend just to get by. (well and pay for my disney fix) And I wont even get a day off for another 6 days and thats after working 32 hours between friday and saturday alone. :guilty:

And I have already been yelled at and hung up on this am by a customer. :furious: And its only 9:40. I have other customers stalking me and I cant get to them all.

But yet here I sit on the DIS. I cant help it. Only thing that gets me through the day.

Ok I feel better. Thanks for letting me vent!!!!!

Ok but only 70 more days till Vacation :cheer2: :cheer2: :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Men who wear cologne. Ick. I have a co-worker (who, just by breathing, manages to annoy me most days) who spent 15 minutes showing us pictures of his vacation while I just wanted to gag because he's wearing so much cologne.

At least I'm breathing the fresher air now. :teeth:

Rude restaurant customers! Ack!! I've been a waitress for almost 10 years and 99% of our customers are great but it's that 1% that stinks!!

Last night I had a couple come in, they're "regulars" but never, ever tip. :( And not just me, they won't tip ANY of the waitresses so it's not "me."

They were the first buffet customers of the evening, so everything was ready except the cooks don't put chicken in the broaster until people are actually eating off the buffet. So I brought this couple their glasses of water and told them the salad bar was ready if they would like to start with that, and it would be about 10 minutes for the chicken to come out. She said, real snarly, "well, I hope the chicken comes out before we're ready to leave!"

Gads, witch woman, I just told you it would only be 10 minutes for the chicken to come out, that is NOT a very long wait! If you're in that big of a hurry go to McDonalds! And tips aren't EXPECTED there!!

Plus they are so messy! They will not pick anything back up (chicken bones, empty butter cups, etc.) and put it on their dirty plate. No, they leave everything strewn all over the table (do they really think I LIKE touching their chicken bones?! :furious: ) and they are so, sooooo wasteful with the food, leaving un-eaten chicken pieces, ham, etc. on their plates but yet they'll get up and get ANOTHER plate!!

I wish they'd never come back!! I HATE waiting on them!!

And one time they came in, they were fighting so they sat at SEPARATE tables!! The woman even turned her chair to face the wall so she wouldn't be looking at her DH!! Separate bills. Then TWO tables to clear and NO TIP!!

Did I tell you I HATE waiting on those people? ;)

I hate hate hate my mil. She is the meanest, most selfish person in the world. And I wish my dh would see her for what she is. :furious:

Oooh, a PMS thread; I'm in!

I'll complain about my niece/best friend who, at every family gathering, delights in taking horrible, horrible candid photos of me and then showing them to everyone, including me, and making fun of them. I dread looking at her family gathering photos because I know that as soon as I say "Nice photos", she'll come back with, "Did you see those ones of you? HAHAHAHA!, etc."

I'll also complain about my mother-in-law. She used to live less than an hour away. She lived there for about 3 years and in that time only once invited us over to visit her. She has been to visit us about 4 times in those three years. She has never attended any of the things that we've invited her to attend pertaining to DD, she has never accepted any of the invitations to parties on DH's or DD's birthdays, she doesn't visit on Christmas, you get the idea, she's just not a grandma type, and that's ok. She's young (55) and healthy and has a busy life.

But now she's moved 10 hours away and is all of a sudden wanting us to visit her every holiday. She has so far invited us up for Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day. We've turned down all of the invitations. (DH hates to drive far and hates to fly, we sadly hardly ever go more than an hour away from home.) MIL blames me for "keeping DH away from his family". Sigh.

Now that I'm on the subject of in-laws, I could go on & on, but I'll stop, I think I've used up my complaint time. :teeth:

ohhh a thread I can really relate too!!

I am so in need of a vacation!!

My family are not the cleanest pack.

We live with my grandparents and so many things to complain about there....it's so past time to move on.

Had to cancel our WDW trip for next week because life came up and bit us on the hieney.

We had the camping trip from hades this weekend and I had to go around commando because the family didn't pack my underwear, I then accidently bought granny panties.

My birthday is 2 weeks from today and every birthday stinks to high heaven and I am not expecting any different this year other than I will be in the air.

Thanks for letting me unload!!

My face is so itchy from a pregnancy rash that I could just scream. Nothing that has been suggested helps at all - but it keeps waking me up at like 5 am, with the birds.

My DD is succumbing to the stress of baby preparations, Kindergarten looming and my MIL coming for a month to help with the baby (I adore her, but it's a big event for my DD) and DD is just being an absolute *pill*.

DH travels a lot and pays for many expenses up front. Our checking account keeps spinning wildly out of balance - both ways. I don't know how to budget this way!

And these hormones are just affecting everything. Grrrr.

I could keep going.

But I won't. :thumbsup2

How much time have you got??

All kidding aside, I'm complaining about the fact that I'm tired of complaining and tired of having things to complain about ...

I'm going to call my older brother in Florida and see if he has an extra pair of those rose-colored glasses he wears all the time.. I want to live in his world - where you can simply ignore everyone and everything...

A John Conlee Fan, A?? A woman after my husbands own heart... I just started singing the song to myself ...."But these rose colored glasses, that [ I'm looking through, Show only the beauty, cause they hide all the truth..." If you know it - Sing a long! Its a great old country song, if you are into that kinda music... DH, 32 next week, is a HUGE old-time country music fan. I swear he was reincarnated from his grandfather or something! An old soul... I have had no choice but to listen over the years. Better than some of that c*r*a*p* that is on the radio these days.... boy do I sound like my mother!! SAVE ME! As the saying goes, "Mirror, mirror, on the wall, I am my mother after all...." ((Better than my MIL I guess...))!!?? But thats another rant for another time!!

Happy Ranting and Raving! popcorn:: :grouphug:

Congrats on the Pregnancy - although its not always fun - its well worth it! Don't cha think?? I had a 'bout of spewing pregnancy gripes last night and by did it feel good! Thanks to the OP of this topic - what a great way to vent AND feel like there is someone else outthere that can sympathize.... Not just DH who think we are Crazy Pregnant... um... er... Women will be the word I use here today! :badpc: :rolleyes1

Keep you (itchy) chin up and get a lil R&R... suck up the help with the DD and new Baby - it doesnt last long!! Toodeloooooo

Can I add another one?

DH called from his convention to say hi, and informed me that he had to buy a pair of dress shoes so he could go do dinner with a vendor last night. Of course we're not talking about how I suggested, at least twice, that maybe he should take a pair, just in case.

That was bad enough, but when I logged in to check on our credit card today, I saw the shoes cost $144!!! Those things better be plated in gold!

Guess I better go out back and shake down my money tree a little this afternoon...

This whole year started off crappy and it continues to stay crappy.

I misread this at first and thought it said thread full of compliments. So I am going to complain about my eyes playing tricks on me. ;)

LOL that's what I thought it said :lmao:

I'll add my complaint. My stupid mortgage co sent back my insurance check to have my roof and siding done unsigned :furious: Now I have to sit on hold to find out what their problem is and then call the contractor to tell them it has been delayed yet again :furious: :furious: :furious:

Wow that feels better! Now I won't be so hard to the guy on the phone when he answers. :teeth:
