Today was basically uneventful...We started with breakfast...I explained the dining plan to the kids....I don't think they ever got it.....They wanted counter service for breakfast....with a snack of course....My kids love to eat....or should I say they think they love to eat....After they pile their plates..they eat about half if that.
We started off at Animal Kingdom....We were told it was a pretty light day...they were only expecting about 22,000. We didn't have to wait very long for the safari, expedition everest, dinosaur or Kali River rapids. They went on a few other rides here and there but the big ones were easy on and off.
I was trying to get everyone to eat lunch about ll:30 or so since we had early ADR (5:00 every night - this is all I could get....I scheduled in August and 5:00 was the only available time). Of course this never worked out. Once again they would want a full counter service meal....while I pushed snaks.
We went back to All Star Sports to swim for a little before having dinner at the Whispering Canyon Cafe.....You can't miss this one....Food was great...We all shared everything and we were so full that no one could even think about dessert. Great place for kids....games and lots of fun....
We went to the MK after dinner...The place was a mob scene. We managed a few rides but it was becomming clear that we were going to be spending the night if we didn't get out of there soon. We are not crowd people...The DS7 was in a wheelchair and we were having problems pushing through the crowds.
Did I mention that DS12 and DS8 have ADHD.....DS12 was having meltdowns at this point. and DS8 was spinning and wanting to eat popcorn off the ground. He was thoroughly overstimulated. DD13 and DS16 are laughing at the other two which only tends to get them even more upset. DD27 who has no children is thoroughly disguisted at this point and wants out of there.
After getting a few snacks we were off to the resort....These kids needed sleep.....and so did I. DS12 was still wearing his birthday pin....All CM's would yell happy birthday Andrew.....he wasn't looking happy at this point....but at least he had stopped crying when someone looked at him. They were having fun and in control most of the time..
