Yeah. I felt attacked. Please everybody stop and leave me be. I don't have a problem with you not liking what I'm doing, you are entitled to your opinion. But just don't come to the teen board like that. It makes you seem creepy and/or pathetic to a lot of people.

FTR, I didn't go searching the teen board. All posts pop up in "new posts" when they are new. I clicked on it without even looking at what forum it was. I think it's fine if you want to set some record, but I don't think the dis should support a thread that will encourage other teens to do the same thing...as proved by a pp's dd.

Then why did you post about what you're doing, if you don't want the attention? Did you actually think you'd just have a bunch of cheerleaders cheering you on, and no one would be honest and say how dumb it is?

Maybe he's just grouchy due to lack of sleep.

From what I understand the teen board has teen mods. They may not realize that isn't healthy behavior to be encouraging, did you report it to one of the webmasters? I would hate to see someone come to harm due to that type of sleep deprivation.

I know in the past it also had/has that team thing that is on this board also. I think the team thing is adult.

Yea, sometimes I just don't get it. I got points and actually ended up banned for trying to help reassure a poster that her personal info had not been stolen. Someone else falsely posted that they had personal info about her. I provided the public link they were referencing, and they said I was personally attacking her the poster I was trying to help by posting personal photos. They weren't even her photos, but some attached to a news stroy on another site by a poster who has a similar screen name. The mods were nasty and condescending when I tried to find out why in the world I had been cited, and accused me of lying.

I don't see the point of staying awake but I doubt that shutting down the thread would stop him. The teens could just PM each other.

I think so too, but if he isn't he is got to be the best sleep deprived typist I have ever seen

He already said that there is no way he's driving anywhere. And we're pretty sure he's doing microsleep that's why he's still functioning. He'll just crash and sleep. He's already out for the summer and is just chilling at home.

Also, the DIS isn't supporting it. It's just a thread, it's not like they're endorsing it or advertising it.

Not that I actually believe him, I mean come on. He very easily could nod off every few minutes and not even know it.

I think it's just a way to get attention and keep a thread alive, a rather silly one at that.
