The Tale of the Grow Walk ….Hunh?

Continuing on with more Splash pictures.

Oh no!!!!!!

One of our favorite parts of the ride.

We survived!!!

And I didn’t get too wet, which is always a bonus for me.

And our picture…I actually stayed upright…I usually tend to bend way over to avoid getting wet. This picture cracks me up, because Claire looks scared out of her wits….but she loves this ride and would ride it over and over if I let her, so not sure why she has the scared face.

After our splashdown we moved on and look what I found.

This was the first time we were able to see the Rapunzel tower….and I just loved it. And you will see several more pictures of it throughout the trip.

Here’s another one….I think this is so pretty…..such a fancy bathroom area.

I am pretty sure we used the bathrooms there to check them out and then moved on.

Are you sure you used those bathrooms? I mean, if you went in there surely you'd have pictures to prove it! :rotfl:

Nice pictures on Splash! :thumbsup2 Glad you finally got out your 30mm lens! :cool1:

You would think I would, wouldn't you?
I am not sure if I took pictures inside at all through out the trip...and you know me, I haven't even looked through all of them yet.

It was nice to get it out here and there....it is a good lens.

I have only done Splash once, I think. I am so NOT a drops person so I do those once, to say I did, and then I don't have to again. :thumbsup2 I would love to see the ride again, though - you got some great pictures!!

Those bathrooms are SO cool. I didn't realize until the AEP that there are Pascals you can find in the mini garden area in front of the restroom, near the charging stations. I think this next trip I am going to try and see how many I can find. Me and the 6 year olds. :rotfl2:

Yep. I would expect at a minimum a free tampon dispenser pic! :lmao:

First off, Paige looks absolutely beautiful in the pictures! You did an excellent job on the photos Jen.

I am not a fan of getting wet on rides which is why we've skipped Splash Mountain the last few years. Used to, we didn't get soaked but the last couple of times, we did and I don't like walking around with wet underwear. Your pictures while on the ride are great as always. :thumbsup2 Claire does look scared in the ride photo and you look like you are having the time of your life.

I so wish that they'd have done something Tangled/Rapunzel themed besides just a gosh darn bathroom area. Don't get me wrong, it's pretty and nicely themed but a bathroom for a Disney Princess? If I were Rapunzel, I'd be pissed. (pun intended) :rotfl2:

I know I saw a picture of you on EE and you looked "THRILLED" to be on it! :rotfl2:
I had heard that about Pascals too, but I never looked.

Gosh. I really slacked on that!:rotfl:

thanks. She is pretty happy with a lot of them, and that is most important!

I hate wet shoes...and wet underwear!

Not only p'd off.but she is being p'd on! :lmao:

Great pictures of Splash Mountain, Jen; and I'm glad you didn't get too wet.

Isn't that new bathroom area just great? And Rapunzel's tower...I love that whole area.

I loved the photos from Splash Mountain. When I did this for my charity challenge last year, I was too scared to take in all the clever detail. I love the Tangled bathrooms.

It is really cute. I wish they had some sort of interactive type thing there too.

LOL...now you will have to ride it again! :thumbsup2

We had some time before our first FP+ of the day so we wandered through Old Fantasyland.

And Claire does love It’s a Small World, so we had to make a stop there.

The line was long…and was not very fast moving either.

Finally we made it onto our boat.

I love when I get shots like this next one.

And continuing with more Small World pics.

My favorite room has always been the white and blue room…even as a kid.

And now Claire was happy and we went back out to the crowded park.

I was sure excited to see this…..The only time I had seen the new Fantasyland was back in 2012 for previews during the Halloween and Christmas parties…so this was my first time seeing it in the daylight.

And there she is! The Mine Train….which at this time was still not up and running. I had really hoped they would be doing soft openings for our trip and many rumor boards had predicted they might….but as it came closer to the trip, I lost hope. My Dad did see them run an empty car a time or two, but I never did.

We have FP+ for Seven Dwarves Mine Train and I am so excited to try it!

Love that black and white pic of Claire too. It's like you captured her really "in" the moment.

Wow! I cannot believe the man on the scooter. Does he think just because he has wheels he is entitled to go faster? I don't understand some people. I am still stunned by your crowds! The line for Small World is insane! I went during spring break one year, which I think is congruent to the week you were there, and vowed to never go back.

Isn't the new Fantasyland great? They really did a great job building it up! Bummer the mine train wasn't open. Watching the progress of it has been pretty neat though.

I love It's A Small World, too. I just got the Dooney and Bourke It's A Small World purse this week. I am with you on the blue and white room. I have always liked this best, too. That is such a beautiful photo of Claire.

What a shame that the Mine Train was not in soft opening when you were there. It does look good though.

Loving the Small World shots. I've shot that ride a million times. And I'm sure I'll shoot it again when we go back. I just can't help myself! :hyper:

That is a lovely shot of Claire. Good choice to convert to B/W! :thumbsup2

Luvin the small world pics. Every time I'm on that i'm like dolls, dolls, dolls, IRELAND! :rotfl:

So, as usual I am completely behind due to my lack of DIS time! Let's see, what can I remember?

Holy crowds in Epcot!

That squirrel picture is awesome.

Yay for B&C! :cool1:

Love all the fab night time pictures around the Boardwalk. So pretty!

Your room at the Marriott is lovely! And the pool looks really nice too! It is annoying that so many resorts have the same name. We got lost that way once as well!

Fun pictures at Ohana.

Boo to super long lines for Pirates.

Your daughters pictures are lovely. You did an awesome job. I can't take people pictures to save my life. She must be thrilled. Bring on the baby pictures. She can use you as her photography.
