The Tag Fairy

Good mornin' all! Keishashadow, I've never stopped to think that religion might play an important part in the TAG FAIRIES' lives! Maybe we all have so work to do in the area! :guilty:

Hey, Macraven....what's shakin' with you?? :sunny:
If I have to set up a shrine to get a tag, so be it...let it be said - let it be done:wizard: .

Macraven - ahem...I'm a big he-he fan of strech jeans, they even make them low-mid rise now. Anything's better than stirrup pants (snausage) LOL.

Mtblujeans - my teeth hurt for you...good luck.

BTW, there's plenty of us untagged out here - yoo-hoo, anybody....

I am having my tooth from heck pulled tomorrow. I don't know how that is going to go....have to drive 2 to 3 hours on the snowy roads to his office, have the darn thing dug out of my jaw (the root is broken), then drive the 2 to 3 hours back and who knows how I am going to feel by the time I get home tomorrow night! I am looking forward to getting this over with....

That does not sound like fun at all. I have to go to the dentist tomorrow for 1 out of 4 appts to get cavities filled. It sucks but I hadn't been to the dentist in a LONG time.

Hey...

Sorry didn't get notified of any posts...darn!

Sometimes I don't like having a holiday birthday as it gets ignored with all the other festivities. Of course ...doesn't that mean I don't AGE then? LOL!

Smiles,

Holly (and still tagless...)

phamtonsgirl: i marked it down,,,,birthday coming up this month!

Ooooh, painful - an '03 no less...hope that's the end of the damage.

I got a great deal on a used Caddy Seville a few years ago (with all the repairs I've paid for, probably could have bought a new one - or at least leased it for less...) At one point I got gouged over $300 for a tail light!

A very merry unbirthday to you, yes you!

Hope mtblujeans fared well....

wish i would have bought a used car instead, my sick car was new when i bought it.

where are you tag fairy............ :wizard:

The Tag Fairy's probably out with the multitudes I saw @ the mall today finishing up Xmas shopping.

There's quite a few good mouseketers/mummy groupies waiting to be rewarded with a nice taggie present....

Of course, she'll probably appear when I'm in Orlando, in 5 days :cool1: . always seem to miss the bus.:)

Like my jeans, my luggage expands, when the need arises:earsboy: .

Used to do all carry-ons, now we lug suitcases the size of body bags around.

The older I get, the more stuff I need.

Helllooooooooo - Tigger, are you there?....

While I'm gone the Fairy must be fed...

Tribute = Tags (or so I'm told)...

Hope you all garner a few in my absence...

If you see a stray one, grab it for me - I'll be back.:sunny:

keishsashadow.......are you leaving on sunday for the mother land??

we will keep the tag fairy at bay while you are gone.......yea, i got your back

Ok, I am back. The tooth is out, the stitches are in, the swelling is gone, I am going to survive! :rotfl:

Actually, the roads driving down to the office were the worst of the whole experience. We drove through a snow storm going down and a snow storm come back up!

That tooth was screaming to get out. It had had a root canal and a crown on it and I had been told to expect the worst! They thought the crown would pop off and the dentist would have to go diving for the root in pieces. But, it has done so much jaw bone damage and was so loose, the whole thing came out slick as a whistle! (I kept it....it had such an obvious break in the root that the guy up here should have NEVER done the root canal on it!)

I did not have as much pain as I expected but it still was no picnic. AND I HATE MOUTH/HEAD PAIN!! It swelled up on Tuesday and a little more on Wednesday but today it is doing very well. But, this morning, I went in to start that "deep root cleaning" on the other side of my mouth. Hey, they gotta get 'ya while you're hog tied, don't they?? :earseek:

Poor DH....we don't have dental insurance. He has told me my mouth is the most valuable thing on me!! :teeth:

Sounds like you guys have been keeping busy......! :3dglasses

mtblujeans........you poor thing....if i lived closer i would come over and cook and help you out.

dental pain is as bad as having a baby.

you take care and feel better soon.

maybe the tooth fairy will make a deal with the tag fairy for you.

after all, you got to save the tooth......

mtblujeans.......how are you feeling today?? take some pills, get high..and you will feel better and say tooth? what tooth?

keishashadow........hope your flight out on sunday is smooth and you have a grand time

we have over 10" of snow from last night. shovel is my middle name now.

i leave very early on monday.......making the trip to st louis to see the folks then on over to iowa way to pick up one son for his college break.

a lot of driving.........blech

i'll be here until my time of departure

We received 5 inches of new snow last night. It was so gross! I hope that mouth of yours is feeling better today! I never did go. I just do not have the money. We have insurance but we have to pay right then and there whatever the insurance will not cover. I am going to start going right after the new year.

I am having so much trouble with my internet connection this morning....I am having trouble getting in here to post!

I agree with you, Macraven, about the dental pain and birthing pain being a close toss up! UGH!! I didn't think to offer that tooth under my pillow for the Tooth Fairy's consideration! But, I don't think that Tag Fairy would be interested in this tooth....! :earboy2:

They gave me a prescription for pain killer but I have just been taking Ibuprophen. If I took the pain killer, I probably would not be able to sit here and post! :earseek: They put a patch over the open socket and it is more irritating than anything else! That and the stitches have to sit for another week.

We don't have insurance and we had to pay at the time of the appointment or they wouldn't pull the darn thing. DH keeps pointing out how expensive I am! :rotfl: At the cleaning appt I had yesterday, they found I have a cavity on the base of a tooth that has a gold crown so now we need to rip the crown off, fix the cavity, and put a new crown on. **sigh** Funny how they don't seem to be able to find these things when they are small and managable!?!!

We have some snow but only a few inches. It has been in the single digits during the day all week.....UGH!! :guilty:

You guys all have fun on your trips and be careful so you make it back safely....I'll be here holding down the fort (wilderness, as it were).

mtblujeans.......i hear you about the pain in the pocket book........

when i had mine pulled, it was cash/cc/check up front before i sat in the chair.

take the dope and enjoy life...............i sure did when i had mine pulled.
i don't even remember what i cooked for dinner for the family that night...
think they snuck out and got burgers after they ate the dinner i made for them.

live it up, do the drugs.....you probably only have enough for a couple of days.....you won't become a junkie on them.......

do hope you are feeling better.
do you have the dissolving stitches? mine were.

Had to check back in once before we leave (tomorrow a.m.)...got 6 inches of snow, but roads are clear. Tried to check in on-line & res w/AirTran was missing YIKES! Several hours later, that little detail was cleared up.

Then had to run out & get another suitcase/body bag...decided to take all giants this time instead of our usual carry-on's (last trip had a tuff time getting any space for our stuff on the plane).

Will return midnight on 12/18, hope for no snow or turbulence (not the world's best flyer by any means).

mtblujeans - sorry to hear of your ordeal. Be careful to keep that socket covered & moist (I had a "failed" root canal & had to have an extraction @ oral surgeon. Got a "dry socket", nasty - had to have to repacked, etc.). I agree with macraven, the pills are the only positive note...take advantage...hope you have a speedy recovery. IMO dental pain should be considered torture.

Keep the home fires burning...all I really want for Christmas is a tag!:goodvibes

keishashadow......if i were the tag fairy, i would grant your wish and give you a tag ..........but i am not so i will just say my fingers and eyes will be crossed for your wish to come true.

mtblujeans: TAKE THE PILLS.......
and spelling doesn't count when you are on the computer and flying high....

queenie of the tagless: have a great time.......and remember this always

THERE IS NO SNOW IN THE MOTHER LAND.. but we got 10 inches last night.
