I checked online & it is still saying the dates are not applicable. (April 2008) That was for a package. For room only it said this: Check In dates for 2008 are not available at this time. Please try again later.

Just wanted you to update us on what the CM tells you about price increases, dining plan, etc.

I'm in and out! I already had a POP room only booked and the rate hasn't changed. I considered adding the dining package (which meant adding a one day pass since I already have my passes) and since they made the rotten changes it doesn't make sense for me to do this. My family would much prefer salad/soup over desserts and having to pay the tip on the total of what the meal cost (not the cost of the meal plan but the cost of the meal) just doesn't make it cost effective for me. I loved the old plan, but not a fan of the new.

If the new plan allowed appetizer or dessert it would have been better. We could have had 2 appetizers and 2 desserts and split it all.

Bummer!

Here's what I found out for my package. We're at POR for 6 nights, Jan 2-8. For some reason, my room is still at $149 a night. It wasn't affected by the new system. The CM didn't know why and I'm not gonna argue!
My 6 day park ticket (base) was $231 adults, and $192 kids.
The Dining plan was exactly what we thought it would be- no apps, no gratuity for the base plan. You can not break up your household into different plans. You have to use the same one. It's $38 for adults, and $10 for kids.

My package for a standard room at POR with 6 Day Base tix and DDP was $2894. 04

I knew I had a pin attached to my household, so I asked about it and she said she couldn't pull up that info yet. I'm supposed to call back later today.

I hope that helps. My CM was so good. She said I probably got all my info from the same place she's been reading. I said I Dis'ed and she said that's the one she reads. She said after reading what everyone was writing, sometimes you don't want to go into work. Let's be nice to our CMs today! I'm sure they'll be getting an earful from people all day!
