I just saw a commercial for the beauty pageant show, The Swan. Supposedly, the contestants don't get to see themselves after their beauty modification surgeries for 3 months.
Now, for the sake of discussion, let's say that we are all beautiful people, which we are. However, you are not allowed to see your face for 3 months and you can't look at any photographs of yourself, either.
Do you think you would be startled to see yourself after all that time? I'm thinking I would. But then again, I'm startled by what I see some mornings, anyway.
