nothing much ever changed in small town minnesota. Everybody was on a first name basis from the time they were born to the time they died. That was why when there was suddenly a new student enrolled in the high school, everybody seemed to notice. Especially since the new student’s family was moving into the old cooper place. No one had lived there for the past fifty years and everyone in town had accepted the fact that the house would stay empty.
In fact, up until the moving truck pulled up to the house on a warm september day, no one had even known that it was on the market.

there was always something about the house that gave logan chills and that was part of the reason he was so dead-set on convincing his parents to buy; that house was ------- perfect.
