I'm 95% sure it was that if you saw DHS from a birds eye view, the whole park was shaped like a mickey head or something.

There was a big hidden mickey in DHS that you could only see from above the park, and then the big hat was added -_-

Oh, and you could see it on park maps too. Somewhere upstairs, I think there's an MGM map from 2000 and you can see the hidden mickey when you turned it upside down.

First MGM map. You can clearly see the hidden mickey.
