Bleh, because the majority of America are Christians, and many of them boycotted The Golden Compass movie, because the book has negative views on religion, it meant that the movie wasn't a sucess in the USA, and there aren't any plans to make the sequels, even though it was a huge sucess overseas.

Bleh, because the majority of America are Christians, and many of them boycotted The Golden Compass movie, because the book has negative views on religion, it meant that the movie wasn't a sucess in the USA, and there aren't any plans to make the sequels, even though it was a huge sucess overseas.

How... annoyingly idiotic.

I read the book. It bored me to tears. I never saw the movie cause of it.

I read the book, and I enjoyed it. I didn't think it was about religion at all, until the movie came out and a Christian friend told me...

Actually, the first book has little in it at all. It's the next 2 books where it increases, I believe.

Hmm... I've finished Peter & the Secret of Rundoon. I guess i'll start reading His Dark Materials again.

I was looking at other shows that were on that guys channel, and then that was there too.
