MONDAY
After a peaceful night's rest, we wake early and head to Bus Stop 4 to catch the bus to AK. We get to the stop just as the bus pulls up. The busses at CSR were very good for the most part. A short ride later we arrive at AK and head straight back to the safari. We only have to wait for a few trucks before we're on our way. My friend was in awe of the ride, especially the driver. We thought he was gonna get his tongue run over for it dragging out the side. All the animals seemed to be out this time since it was still early and cooler. After getting off we stop in the little counter service restaurant there and get some pastries and plan our next attack. Off to Camp Minnie-Mickey and get some pics of the boys with the characters there. Daisy, Tigger, Baloo, Brer Bear, and Pooh were the one's I can remember at this time. About time for the Lion King performance so we head on in. This is a must see for me now. I have always missed it in the past. We go over to the Boneyard and let the kids run a bit to expend some energy, and also give us all a break. DS wants to do the bird show so we move that way, but we miss the time. We talk them into seeing Tough 2B a Bug, DS freaked out when the bees attacked so I guess we'll never get him in there for awhile. Now we have the right time to see the birds and go in to sit down. Very nice way this is presented and the birds are incredible. Since it is fairly warm and we've gotten Fastpasses for Kali River we get into line. I was the lucky one and hardly got wet at all, but DW got absolutely SOAKED. When we went down the small waterfall she was backwards and the wall of water that we created came right on top of her. After drying some, we went to our PS at Rainforest and had a relaxing meal. We decided after that, it was time to head out since we saw all we really wanted to here.
Back at the resort we cleaned up and changed for a night of shopping at DD. Did fairly well controlling our spending here, but could've easily spent a bunch more if I wanted to. Two members of our party got tired so they headed back, but being the sucker that I am, I stayed and helped DW spend a little more. At the bus stop here is where it got frustrating. The stop was shared by 3 other resorts and we waited 7 busses before one for CSR showed up and by then there was enough people for 2 busses. I don't know how many elbows I got in the face from being pushed out of the way to get on. I can take it, but I had a tired 6 yr old who we just wanted to get back and he was being pushed too. Common courtesy goes right out the window in these instances so my instincts took over and I forgot I was at WDW for a bit and got nasty and pushed back. We made it on and on the way back I met a DISer(Chipcinderelly) on the bus and she was so nice. Another day gone and tomorrow's gonna be tense.
