The studios seem to be doing really well now since the new rides opened. We have never seen it so busy and we went the year it opened. It was actually one of the things that made my short break, was very pleasing seeing it this way. With the tower of terror opening next year things can only get better.:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

I was in the minority in our household since I've never been keen on WDS.
At the summer I changed my opinion since the park has definitely improved :)

Crush's coaster was very busy at all times we were there.....55 minutes i think was the shortest waiting time we saw........lucky we dont need to go on it!!! me = wimp!!! hate coasters.

I'm gonna be at Disney for 5 days.... trying to plan now. Do you think the improved studios will need more than a day?

The way we do things.....

Get to the park 30 mins before the official opening.......pick 5 rides all close to eachother and you should be able to get them all done whithin the hour, then go on rides(or shops) which suit at the time, depending on q's. head over to the studios at about 12, have lunch the spend the rest of the day there doing what ever you can fit in.........we usually do this for 2 of the days and spend the others in the magic kingdom.:thumbsup2

We came back yesterday and both Crush coaster and Cars had large queues at least 50 mins on crush and not much less on Cars. Did manage to go on them though and my sone thoroughly enjoyed it

Thought it would have got a little quieter by now - not sure we'll have the patience to wait 50 minutes and we're going at Halloween when it's likely to be even busier.

Still it's good to see DS to turn into a 'more than half a day park', which is always how we looked at it, although it must be said DD can spend half a day in the Disney Animation Studios alone.

I love the Studios - there is a more relaxed feel to them and it's easier, even now, to meet characters - can't wait to get back to them!:cool1:

Agreed - it took us literally about 2 minutes of queuing to have a picture with the famous mouse, in the main park the queue was massive! Ratatouille's queue also looked rather small.
