Ugh.... I haven't been feeling well for the last 3 weeks, ever since one of my students threw up into my hands at school. Last night the vomiting started again:( I also found out that the child who threw up on me was diagnosed with salmonella poisoning shortly after he was sick in school. I'm off to the dr. soon-wish me luck-I don't think I can handle losing any more weight:(

I'm so sorry you've been so sick. :(
I hope you start to feel better soon.
{{{hugs}}}

YUCK, you are one special person to let one of your students throw up into your hands. I am getting seick to my stomach thinking of it. Hope you feel better soon. :D

Hope you feel better soon...........that's a long time to feel ill :(

So sorry to hear your sick and even sorry to hear you were barfed on. I hope you feel better soon.

Oh no....could you have caught Salmonella from your student?

Hope the doctors can give you a quick diagnosis, and get you on the path to recovery!

i'm ready to cry..... the dr. said I am very ill-probably salmonella caught from this student:( She put me on Cipro and said that should take care of it. She also does not want me returning to work until next Monday. i didn't realize I had lost as much weight as I had over the last 3 weeks-she said I needed to stay home and try to regain my strength.

Oh sweetie.. Yuck-a-rama! Hope you feel better soon..

btw.. I have a quick suggestion.. You know me.. always got something up my sleeve!

Do you carry that hand cleaning gel.. kills germs etc... in your pocket at school.. I suggest doing that if you don't already. Also, do you have a sink in your classroom? If so put some good soap and paper towels next to it.. try to get the kids to wash their hands more often. It will help slow down the spread of colds and flu bugs!

I was amazed at the difference it made when I started doing that while tutoring at school.

Take care! Joan
