It's a county / town park. There are picnic tables and covered eating areas, but not right along the creek. There's a lot of room to leave chairs and stuff by the swimming hole. You have to rent the tubes outside the park and bring them in with you. You can also bring pool noodles or other flotation devices. The creek is not very deep in some places so with a noodle you might drag your feet.
There are fish, snakes and every other local creature. The lifeguards in the summer watch for alligators and close the creek when one is spotted. This time of year, not too many people are in the water and it is not guarded.
Lots of fun when FL heat hits. Entry fee is low ( I think $3 or $5 dollars for up to 3 people in a car). Good way to spend a lazy day. Make note that the park often fills to capacity and will be closed to additional guests in the summer months and especially on the weekends. Get there before 11 if you can.
