The splash mt dark drop

I heard there was 1 dark drop in it. How dark is that drop?

I don't have first hand experience, but from the videos on youtube it looks pitch black like the drop on POTC. Curious to know as well if that's the case.

I seem to recall a short drop inside that sort of dips down, levels off then drops again. My memory is that it precedes the room with the 'leaping water' and I recall it being pretty dark. Darn, now I'll have to go watch the video again!

Just watched the video again. I think you're right.

It obviously wasn't dark enough to make an impression on me

There is one dark drop but it is relatively small. It is fairly dark though for the drop.

The last time we rode Splash I remember thinking "This is darker than I remember!" about that drop. It was pretty dark. Not peoplemover dark, but dark nonetheless.

There's a smaller drop right before the room with all the frogs and the jumping water. It's moderately dark, nothing like the one in POTC though.

Yep, 5 min 27 sec after starting up the first hill there's a drop as described and it definitely came out 'dark' on my video which caught a lot of ride detail otherwise. Also the drop came seconds before the 'leaping water' thing.

Yes, there is one drop that is in complete darkness. It really is a rather small one...more like a quick downhill before leveling off, not a thrill ride drop.

Dark and short. More like a rise and fall in the tracks than a "drop". Pirates has a drop! I don't consider thia a drop.

It's right after Brer Bear is first digging in the tree with the bees and the honey. it's on more of a track than into water like pirates.
