This is similar to the smell of the BC thread.

What is that smell of the Swan resort?
I could sit there forever and inhale
:goodvibes

i know! i describe it as a spa like smell. its some sort of fragrance elixir they use.

Mom had a candle at home and it smelled like it and I couldn't figure out what it was :sad1:

I think all Westins smell that way. I believe it is white tea and aloe. The Moana Surfrider has the same smell and the toiletries also smell that way and that's what they were called, if I remember correctly.

I recently bought laundry detergent just because it smelled like the Caribbean Beach Resort.

If anybody but a Diser should read our comments, they would think we are nuts!:rotfl:

The fragrance is white tea, and it is part of the Westin Sensory Arrival experience :)

I know that the Poly and the Grand Floridain have very distinct smells(both great)...This is always my first "Im back in Disney" moment when we arrive

I need a disney fix now so I am going to order one. Thanks for doing the research and providing this information.:scared1:

Definitely.. smells are the strongest sense tied to memory after all:thumbsup2
I LOVE the smell in the lobby at the Poly.. I could sit there forever and listen to the fountains and inhale:rotfl:

So should I be afraid of what I will smell upon entering the Animal Kingdom Lodge for the first time???? ;) :thumbsup2

I have a Ban solid deodorant in Paradise Winds right at this desk next to our Mickey bobble head.

I think the Paradise Winds smells just like BCV  & I am not above sneaking a whiff 2 or 3 times a day :rolleyes1
When I thought they were discontinuing it, I went out & bought another & it remains unopened, just in case some fool in this family grabs the other one & actually uses it as a deodorant, heaven forbid!:headache:

I always have to remember to throw the deodorant in the desk drawer when people visit us!:rotfl2:

I so love this thread! I confess: I have small glass jars of sand from various beaches I have been to. When I open them, I swear they smell different and each one has it's own memory tied to the smell. My family thinks I am nuts. :confused3 Now I have to go gather up some of these other items and put them in my office for the days when the stress level is way too high and disney is way too far!
Thanks for making my day.:cheer2:
