thought I'd make a little thread about small receptions and escape weddings so if anyone has any questions to post, post them here ;)

I have some questions for the disney wedding experts! Trying to stay as close to the $7500 minimum as I can...(right thats the min?)
I really like the attic, looks very nice, quiet, private, so I was wondering...
How much would you budget for a lunch there with say 20 people (4 are kids)?
In terms of pre-reception what can be served and how much would you budget for that?
How much is it to rent it out?
Anything else I am forgetting to budget out, linens? centerpieces?

Help is greatly appreciated, I have been to maybe 5 weddings in my life, 2 when I was very little. Isn't that sad?

If you add a private reception or hold a Saturday or Sunday Escape event, yes.

I think you could do it for the room's $1,000 minimum—that's $50/person (including the kids) for food and beverage, so plenty to work with for a lunch.

You can serve anything you can think of, but do you really need a pre-reception when your time in the space is limited to 2 hours? I say just go straight from the ceremony to the reception and save yourself some money on pre-reception food and drinks.

$1,000 food and beverage minimum at lunch.

You don't really need those things at the Attic cuz it's soooo highly themed, and standard linens are included in the price. But if you want to add them, try looking through the planning journals in the sub forum for ideas and prices. :thumbsup2

...Or it could be great because you won't feel bound to do what you've seen everyone else do! :goodvibes
