The Six nations starts again today :cool1:

I shall be sitting watching Wales v England this evening with a few pints of Guinness.

I hope England will win but for the first time in a number of years I think all the teams have a chance of beating one another, with the possible exception of Italy. It is going to be a particularly interesting tournament this year :)

Is anyone else looking forward to this??

Much against my normal views I've decided to shell out and pay the $20 to get the game on pay per view over here ( I hate the idea of pay per view). They are claiming it's "live" but the show doesn't start until 9.30 UK time so I guess it's a delayed tape. I'm still deciding whether to find out the final score first or watch the game as if it were live, not knowing the outcome. If the cat has any sense it will find out the score and decide if it's a good idea to go missing for a couple of days if England should lose LOL. In future I'll see if I can find a pub/restaurant that covers it live and go have lunch/ a beer there :cool1:

I think if I was paying $20 for the game I would want to watch it as if it was live :)

I wouldn't mind watching it in the floridian sun though :teeth:

How unlucky were Scotland earlier against France?- let's hope England dont make as slow a start as those on the other side of the channel. Its a young team but the new boys will hopefully play out of their skins to justify their place in the team when the injured players are available again.

COME ON ENGLAND!!

Sorry Guys, just come in had a fab day watching Wales beat England Yippee, Oh Gosh am I in for some stick now.

Sue

Come on WALES

I think you're safe Sue, your boyos won the game LOL.

Pretty disapointing game from England though, from Andy Robinson down they seemed to lack any idea of what they were trying to do, the ability to make anything happen and the desire to tough it out. I felt sorry for the Tait boy, he was given no protection, no ball and no guidance, IMHO he's the only person who escapes without any blame and that's simply because he should never have been put in that position (starting his first international in a game that was always likely to be closely contested) , IMHO the manager takes the majority of the blame for lack of imagination in the game plan and some very poor selection choices. Woodward had a lot more nous about him, both in tactics and man management ( not forgetting when to get out when the goings good LOL ) JMHO.

Wales should have won by more. I wouldn't be quite so depressed if Wales had put up a stunning performance to beat us, but at times they played like a team that didn't really believe they could/should win the game either.

Maybe both teams just cancelled out each others good work, but I tend to think it was two pretty average performances and Wales were the better of the two.

I have to agree that England were poor :( and I don't think Wales were a lot better. The way England played they should have been hammered.

I hope Andy Robinson can come up with some better ideas for the next game or England could be looking at a serious setback this season :(

Well done to Wales though :)

Hate to disappoint y'all but it's coming back to Ireland!!
