NINE MORE DAYS TILL WE LEAVE

for nine days...well it may be 8 days technically now since its after midnight.

The Plan: Day 6

Our last full day in Disney. We are starting the day off in Epcot since we only had a few hours there the night before. The main focus will be on Future World although I am sure we will wander into World Showcase again as well. We are considering a possible lunch at Beaches and Cream this day, I am dying to try the No Way Jose and I have heard that the burgers here are excellent.

We will leave the park around 1:30ish so that I can get back to POP and get ready for my meet at the Petals pool bar! I am so excited for this, I am finally going to meet some of my favourite online buddies! The family and I will also be enjoying some quality pool time this afternoon.

I have the evening unplanned, we can go back to Epcot if we want (no park hoppers so another park is not an option) or we may go to DTD if we didn't go on a previous evening. There are also the mini-golf and pool options. I may try and get us into a dinner at Chef Mickey's even though I know it is probably an impossible task this close to the trip. Basically we will just go with the flow and see what happens.

On our must-do list for Epcot:

Soarin
Test Track
Spaceship Earth (have to check out the new features)
Character photos

As you can see not many "must-do's" this day. We much prefer the World Showcase portion of the park.

Now the big question of the day for me is whether I should wear orange or purple?

The Tiki Room at WDW is an abomination on the awesome original! I never saw the original in WDW but when we went to DL we saw it and I can't even believe how the messed it up now. I'll go if they are letting in and I need some A/C but I don't have to like it! LOL.

Well see, I have never seen the original so I don't know any better. I wouldn't stand in a long line to see it but as you said, if they are letting people in and you need some a/c why not?

DD and DH do not like the Tiki Room, but it brings back awesome silly memories of my childhood. Last year when my sister's family overlapped our trip and we all spent a day together at MK, we insisted everyone go to the Tiki Room.
