I was all set to ride by myself and have the 2 girls ride together and then the CM told us to all get in one buggy .... so I obeyed.

We realized about 2 seconds in that this was a BAD idea but what could we do at that point.

I am laughing now just thinking about it. The absurdity of it all makes it sooo funny.

In case you have not noticed, crowds were thin today.

I did notice. That does not look like a crowd that's settled in to watch a parade.

3 Adults do NOT fit in 1 car. Not to mention we are not small women. A and I both commented that we thought we only has 1 cheek on the seat. We giggled about that almost the whole ride.

I'm sure you'll remember that ride for a long time!

We were getting a little rumbly in the tumbly so we ducked into
Columbia Harbor House was the place. It was about 11:30 so it was beginning to get crowded.

Sorry no food pics and I can't even remember what we had.


We had another big surprise waiting for us when we were done.

It was noon when we ventured out into Liberty Square right into another parade. The Christmas parade was coming down the road!

After the parade passed, we walked toward Fantasyland and the bathroom. The one I knew was large and clean.
Must take pictures of tiles.

It was few minutes after 1pm and I turned to the girls and said “ Let’s go.”
They looked at me like I was nuts.

The crowds have descended upon the MK and people were everywhere, and this is most evident in Fantasyland.



MK was open until midnight that day so I knew we could knock out the rest if we came back later. It took a little convincing but they trusted me so we made our way out.


But where shall we go?

Wow I am really hoping I have not run off the few readers I appear to have.
For now I will assume everyone is just busy and struggling to catch up and stay caught up. I know I am doing the same.

MK was getting really crowded so the suggestion to bail out was made. Where to go was teh question.

I suggest we go to the Epcot resorts to see the decorations. Even though I saw them last night, I wanted to show A and B how different resorts decorate for the holiday season.

We walk out and wait for a bus to the BW, BC, YC and Swolfin. About an hour later we are walking in the Yacht Club. We must have taken our time and had to wait a bit for a bus. I don't remember any shift changes with drivers or anything like Glennbo's ordeal but at some point during the trip we commented on how it seemed that the deluxe resorts were having the slowest bus service on this trip.

We walked to the gift shop and the grab and go area at the BC.

We continued on to DHS by boat.
Being later afternoon, TSM was out. I checked mobile magic and probably got FP for ToT. While we waited for the window to open, we walked over to the Muppets.


We actually had to wait in line and the queue was around the side of the building.
While we were waiting we noticed these.

The bolts were painted as eyes.

I remember getting in a discussion with the family in front of us. We talked about dogs and neighbors and random things people talk about when standing in line. How come you can always come across nice people while standing in line?

We walk back towards Sunset Blvd and walk into One Man’s Dream. I had not seen the movie. If I did I do not remember it. We are walking and looking and waiting for the movie when I need to go the bathroom. And of course it cannot wait. So I send the girls to the movie and I exit in search of a restroom. Now I know there is one right by TSM now but apparently then I did not. I walk all the way around VoLM and use the one by the Animation studio. I walk all the way back to meet them when I ask the CM where the movie exits and yup right by the bathroom I was just at.
My attempt at seeing movie was thwarted. It was put on the "next time" list.

Conversation came up about the word "twitterpated" and how a co-worker of B's uses the phrase. Good to know they were surrounded by Disney from others as well.

As soon as the girls got out of the movie our FP window opened up and we headed to ToT.

The picture is horrible but you can still make out their expressions on their first ride.

Back down Sunset Blvd. Stop for the PP.

Hmmm it was getting dark. Where should we head?

I think that is it. Everybody is busy with real life stuff and just can't DIS as much as they/we would like to. It's a nice thing to have an hour or so where nothing is tugging on you to be done. I DIS in spurts - especially through the week. I try to check in at lunch time and do a few replies. On the weekends, I get more time, but it seems like there is always something that needs to be done, even without having little ones at home. Right now, I need to go run a load of towels in the washer, and I need to go to the store, as I am out of dishwashing liquid and light bulbs. The thought of getting out in the Sunday afternoon craziness, though, does not entice me to leave my nice warm house to get those items. I'll just do it on the way home from school tomorrow when I am already out.

I'd love to have that sea turtle decoration for my OKW downstairs. I just need the whole Beach Club tree.

Tower of Terror is fun. I'm looking forward to seeing the picture when Jackie and Anita go on it together.

Plus, I've just been to my 3rd funeral/memorial service in a week or two. My boss's Dad died on February 18 and his service was February 20. Clay's Grandmother was in the hospital during that time due to a pulmonary embolism. She pulled through only to die a week ago Saturday. There was only a graveside service in High Point on March 2nd. That same day, I had a Great Aunt die and her memorial service was this afternoon in Winston-Salem. Added to all that is work and regular household stuff. I need a vacation!

I am struggling to keep myself. Yesterday was shot due to the championship swim meet for our Winter league that I spent 12 hours being the clerk of course. All went well but it was a long day.

I really liked the Beach club decorations. i am looking forward to spending more time at the resorts, especially the ones I have not seen yet.

Oh yes I would love to see video of Anita and Jackie.

I am getting busy at work and home too. Pulled in many directions so I understand. At least we are not alone in being busy.

Ack the weather is getting bad again. Good thing I just got back from grocery shopping. Wind but the radar is showing nothing. What's up with that?!?!? Maybe a rogue cloud.

It got really cold. Hard to believe at the start of that trip we were in shorts and now we are in heavy coats and gloves.

Some really good updates! Glad I had the time to get all caught up. It is taking entirely too long to travel down Main Street USA when the horse and carriage passes you twice! Maybe that is the real reason Space Mtn was a walk-on......everyone had already ridden it and left by the time you got all those PP pictures!

The HM story is just too funny! So where DID the ghost ride when he joined you three?

We didn't see that second parade when you came out of CHH! That one looks really cool. Wish we had seen it, but maybe they didn't have it this year???

Oh yes I would have much rather been shedding the heavey layers rather than adding them. Thankfully, we were prepared. Being caught off guard would have been expensive.

I am glad too.I know everyone has been real busy and trying to stay some what caught up is hard.

Truthfully our Main Street jaunt was only about 5 min according to time stamps on the pictures but yup we hit every PP on the street.

It was the Christmas party parade. I think they moved to noon or had one a t noon and 3pm that week. I had really odd luck with parades that day.

Madison, my granddaughter, is living with us right now. Katie has moved down here and is staying at my Mom's house. She and my Mom are going to be moving in to a bigger house so they can live together. Madison has been with us so she can have some stability while all this is going on. She and Hannah are 2 years apart and it's been nothing but constant bickering and fighting. You'd think they were sisters!

No I understand busy family time and stuff. I had a big swim meet Saturday and the prep and the actual meet had me running in 10 different directions in addition to a busy week at work.
