Thanks Elaine. Can anyone confirm this????
We are arriving on a sunday and have planned a shopping trip in Paris on the first day, but if everything is closed, especially the Disney Store (we don't have a DS in Denmark, so it's a must-do) it would be a waste of time.
Ive just checked the websites for Galeries Lafayette and Printemps - the 2 largest department stores in Paris and they are both closed on sundays.
Im trying to check the Disney store info for you and cant find it - as its on the Champs Elysee in a very touristy area you may find it is open but if its important to you to visit it you might be better not risking it.
On the plus side all the galeries and museums are free on the first sunday of the month
Thanks, we might be better of just going to the parks (and do some shopping there) We are only there for 3 days, so it would be a shame wasting one of them!
I can confirm that when we went into Paris on a sunday, all of the major shops on the Champs Elysee were open It was bucketing it down, so we kept having to hide in them to get a break from the rain whilst walking down it!
