Hmm I have an awful feeling this app isn't available in Canada.

It's not, but you can google ways to create a U.S. iTunes account without a U.S. credit card. That's what I did. Obviously I can't order, but it's been fun to 'window shop' and do recon about purchases like another poster said.

So i found this yesterday and while playing with it I scanned a tag at home. But then when I clicked on the map view it said it lost the connection. Do you have to be in the WDW area and on their network for it to work for that part?

I uploaded on my iPhone first then had to click iPhone only on my iPad in the App Store and was able to get it on the iPad through the cloud.

I downloaded it from Google play store..and was happily surprised it linked to my MDE info!...found a lot I could purchase and soo excited to add to my Disney obsession!!!!!

I'm sitting here in Oklahoma and was able to download the app on to my iPhone 4, (that I haven't updated in over a year), log in using my Disney account log in, and make a purchase from the comfort of my couch with zero issues. It used my default CC info, just needed to type in the 3 digit code on the back. The majority of the apparel options are available for purchase through the app.

Oh my goodness, thank you soo much for this thread! I always purchase a calendar for the next year for my friend as a bday gift. Usually I buy from a company who has shoppers that go into the parks. One year they forgot about my order and even though I ordered 2 months prior to her birthday I got it just barely in time. Anyway, just found the calendar through the app and can save almost $10!

Not available in the UK which is a shame, would have had some fun window shopping for my next trip

Was excited for this, but inventory seems to be limited. Looked for women's tee-shirts and it only displayed 100. Sounds like a lot, but I know there are more available in the parks and it didn't show the one I've been looking for.

I'm super excited about this! I wanted to get the bride Minnie headband before our Disneymoon but hadn't been able to find it. Now, it's mine! Yay!!

Unfortunately you must have a US phone/account and a US address to use and purchase items from the app.

I ended up making a U.S. iTunes account so I could download it. At least I can window shop until I get there in September!

Pretty excited to have this, often there's been things in the park that I wanted and thought I could easily get online after a trip only to discover they were exclusive to the parks. I did notice there's no art, still would love a better way to browse all the artwork that's available in park stores, but this is at least one step in the right direction.

Edit: I spoke too soon, the art was simply under another section. Here goes way too much money now...

Ugh, so sick of this. No Disney Visa, no app, can't ship magic bands.

Yep, looks like yet another way Disney is telling its foreign customers that they don't really want us. Amazing the disdain they seem to have.

I am wondering if you can pay w an active magic Band.... Like if you are in the park w an active magic band and want to buy something to be shipped home- like scan it and have it sent home, can you use your magic band? I want to be able to buy stuff on my magic band so I can use my gc's to pay it off...

I won't be using the app to make purchases since I live here, but I love the fact I will be able to see where an item is in stock instead of going from place to place.

It is. Just change the type to iPhone and it downloads fine. I just put it on my iPad (my phone is droid)
