We will be visiting the last week of September. Will the waits be long for Nemo and Friends? We haven't been to Epcot in a long time and I don't even remember a ride just the aquarium and Talk with Crush in that area. I'm not sure if it is FP worthy but we have an ADR and wont have much time that day....

Nemo should not require a FP+ at that time of year but what time of day? It is an omni-mover (continuously loading ride) and therefore, lines move quickly. You may want to budget time to explore the aquariums after the ride.

We just returned from a 9 day trip in May - We were surprised at how many attractions, that I thought we wouldn't need a FP+ for, had really long lines. But Nemo wasn't one of them. It was Memorial Day weekend so there were significant crowds...but we only waited 10 minutes.:) Maelstrom, however was 40 minutes.

If you don't mind, can you let us know which ones surprised you/were longer than you thought they would be (or shorter)??

I've only ever seen Nemo with a wait time longer than 30 minutes on New Year's Eve. You should have no problem riding it without a FP+ in late September! Aside from crowds in World Showcase during Food & Wine Festival, that is a relatively slow time at WDW.

POTC, Spaceship Earth, Figment, Living With the Land and Maelstrom are ones that we didn't think we needed a FP+ for but the lines were consistently longer than we have ever experienced. We actually waited 25 minutes for Living With the Land - not a big deal, but in all my years of visiting, I have never waited more than 5-10 minutes. Haunted Mansion we thought we might need so we booked one just in case, and we definitely needed it.

We have never waited more than 5 -10 minutes for Nemo, so I personally would not waste a FP+ on that one. Maelstrom does tend to get a little backed up, so maybe use it on that one instead.
