The Scenic Route??

We will be staying at CSR and are going to go to the Hoop De Doo for dinner on a "pool day" so our travel to the show will not be terribly rushed.

Other than simply taking the bus from CSR to, let's say, Epcot, then taking the bus again to FW ... would there be a more "scenic route" you might take to get there? For example, one of the guys at my work (who frequents Disney also) said maybe we could go to the MK and take a boat to get there? (but he wasn't sure)

What other options are there (if any) to get to the dinner show? Maybe we could experience more magic going another way.

I'd go to MK and then take the boat to FW. It's definitely scenic, and a very pleasant ride (about 15-20 min). You'll cross over from Seven Seas Lagoon to Bay Lake, and pass by the Contemporary and WL on the way.

Take the bus to POR or POFQ. Take the water taxi to DTD. At the same dock, take the water taxi to SSR.

You can find all options of transportation on the Transportation board.
