being the suspicious person that I am , I question everything, so of course I didn't fall for it.
this came thru on email for me.......I don't even have a Citibank card, and never have. anyone reading this DON'T click on the link, it was the link in my email!

has not been accessed by an unauthorized third party. In order to safeguard your Citibank
account, we require that you confirm your banking details. Your can do this by following
the link below and completing the three authentication steps:

Even though you don't have a CitiCard, could you please forward that e-mail to CitiBank? Forward suspicious e-mails to:

emailspoof@citigroup.com
Just to note, the phone number in your e-mail has two digits reversed from the correct CitiBank phone number. The number provided on their website is 1-800-374-9700.

That stuff infuriates me :headache:

I guess they send a few thousand of those emails out & hope that a few unwitting people will reply??

A few years ago, my mom got a similar email from "Paypal" and she responded :scared1: It took me weeks to get it straightened out.

OP...please forward the email to citibank!

I get them all the time. I always forward them to the fraud/spam report address for the supposed sender.

Thanks, you all are right, I need to forward it to citibank,
will do that right now :thumbsup2
