My daughter just turned 11 and privately still likes princesses. :) Is the Royal Tea something that she still could do or will it only be very little girls? It sounds wonderful and like something we both enjoy together, but I don't want her to feel awkward.

The DCL website indicates ages 3-12, but I do think it seems to be mostly pre-schoolers. I think my daughter would love it as well and she is 11 but young for her age as far as interests like that. My DD probably wouldn't mind being with younger kids, but you know your daughter and whether she would feel out-of-place or not.

Enjoy your cruise!

It does depend on the child. I went with my daughter when she was 4 1/2. Most girls were probably early gradeschool, but that would depend on the cruise. There isn't really interaction with the other girls, besides sharing a table. So it is really more time you spend together. We both had a great time, and I would recommend it.

Lanejudy, you gave me a thought - the girls around where we live might not be into princesses, but girls on a Disney cruise would be. So, no one would make her feel ashamed. My daughter is definitely young for her age in interests. I love the way you put that, as I don't feel that she is immature, just likes different things.

And I love your point that the time is really not interactive, but between us, o-smom
