It was so beautiful, and wonderful and GORGEOUS!!!

But how do I definitely know? I keep catching myself sighing when I remember it!

Also, it's like $500 more than we were planning.....would it be wrong of me to give the extra to Jack? The one bam on our budget is not even half the ring of this baby....

I know he'd pay the extra if I really wanted it but I'm more than willing to part with a couple of hundred pounds for a ring so beautiful I wouldn't dare dream it could be mine.......

Sigh.....

It's sort of like this one:

But the side stones are a little bigger. So quite different to the one I've had in mind for a while.....but I think that's the way it goes sometimes....

Beautiful ring Torsie - If I had my time over that is the ring I would choose.

I think it works the same way with dresses - the perfect one often creeps up on you when you least expect it and I think the extra money is worth it if it is the ONE

Wow, thanks Jackie.

I think it'll be worth the extra money for the rest of my life rather than keep thinking about the 'one i could have had.....'

WOW :lovestruc beautiful ring

I think in 10 years you will look back and think.... I love this ring, it was worth the extra
Just like I think about mine :goodvibes

I know the feeling. That's how I felt about mine when I saw it. We went back to the store like 4 times just so I could see it again.
That being the case, it's definitely worth the extra money. You'll be happy you have it.

Very pretty! $500 is nothing in the scheme of things, especially looking back. I would get it, and if he needs the extra money, help him out. Just talk to him.

Go for it! I've had mine for over two year now and still look at it and smile. We designed it and had it made in Goa (where Tim officially proposed) so it already has very fond memories for me. I went for something totally non-traditional and am so glad I went with what I really liked.

I love it!! I think you should go for it, it sounds like you have found the perect ring :goodvibes .

I also think you should get the ring that you are in love with. You have to wear it for the rest of your life so you might as well have one that you LOVE. :thumbsup2

Thank you everyone. I wish I had a photo of the real ring, as that picture just isnt as beautiful!!

Jack and I have talked about it, and we are going to go back to the jewellers and try it on again, and also go back to the other store and see my original favourite. Then I will really know.

He is very adamant though that I shouldnt pay anything towards my ring, but he saw how much the ring affected me and has said that he will get it for me.

We are going to say to the jeweller that its quite a lot over our budget though, and see what he can do - it is a credit crunch after all. ;)

Also, should i try it on with a band too jsut to see how it lokos with one before I buy?

oo i just cum across your post

the ring you pictured is nearly the same as mine bt i have two rows of small stones on the band

so it may all happen soon then if he is buying the ring :D:banana:

Yes, definitely try them both on with a band. That'll save you more issues down the road since you'll be wearing it with the band for a lot longer than without!

Thanks! I will do tomorrow!!

In 24 hours we'll have bought it and then I'll have an excruciating wait whie they get it delivered in my size!!

I'm going to be beside myself in a week, as then Jack will have it and it'll be in the same house as me.

Eeeeeee.

ooo so did he buy the ring?
Well we went and tried it on again today, and I tried it with different wedding rings. It is so breathtaking and beautiful.

But I said to the jeweller how it was over our budget by £300 so....

he took £155 off the price, making it £5 under our absolute maximum.

And Jack bought it right away!!!!

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!!!

Will be with them in my size within a week!!

eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

Now I just have to try and be patient!
