i am so happy right now !
just got off the phone to my mum - she is so happy and excited for us and the kids that we are going to florida that her and my dad havent stopped talking about it since we booked 2 weeks ago
the upshot being that they are joining us for our first week out there !!!
its going to be so lovely as we all went 15 years ago for my 18th
as they are only going for a week they are staying in the animal lodge - mainly *** mummy loves a good balcony !
i have had to promise my dad that i wont put him on space mountain again though - the last time he nearly cried *** he couldnt see where he was going
anyway they are booking at the end of this month so i will be 2 weeks late in doing my ADRS but i would rather wait and not have my first choice *** at least we will all be together !
anyway just wanted to share that hope you guys are all having a fab day

am thinking maybe ohana and definately the coral reef for lunch or dinner - the kids love the fishes !!
its such a juggling game figuring out where your going to be on each day but i figure that even if im not where i should be as long as i allow myself enough time to get there we will be fine !!

We enjoyed ohanas but went on our last night and we were rushing to get into MK for the last few rides so would like to give that another go ! Fancy doing boma, mama melrose, tusker house and nine dragons again too.

New ones Id like to try are Yachtsman for my 40th birthday, Grand Floridian Cafe, Teppan Edo, Le Cellier and Olivias

You can still book your adr's if you know they are coming - far easier to cancel some later than try to add.

Yey! How lovely!!

We are having a family trip at Christmas - I'm looking so forward to showing my parents all our favourite parks!! The downside is they are making us take them to the Space Centre for a day Last time we went there was in 1988 and my nan (god love her acting skills) found it as dull as me, and faked a stomach upset so we could get back to the hotel!!!

I have to agree with this wholeheartedly. You don't want to miss out on your favourite places by leaving to chance. This is a very special trip for you and your family and you should try and get the places you really want to eat at.

Book for your parents to join you. You can always cancel as soon as you know you don't want it but some restaurants like Chef Mickey, Ohana, Whispering Canyon, Cali Grill ....... and almost all character meals, become hard to get after just a few days.

I'm so pleased that the sun is shining for your family again.

i wasnt sure to be honest if i could book for 6 if my res number only is for 4 ??
might try it and see what happens ??
do you reccomend phoning or doing it online ?

the menus are not helping my diet at all at the moment i must read them before dinner not after otherwise i get a late night munch on

You can book for more than your resrvation number as many people meet up with friends, family etc whilst on holiday

Also, theres usually not a problem if you book for 6 and only turn up with 4

Online is very easy to use now and I think it opens an hour before the phone line.

If you want the fantasmic package you need to book by phone I think.

Yes, so do your other ressies online and by the time you are done, you will probably have time for a coffee before phoning as soon as the lines open to book Fantasmic.
