SO COOL - Ty is the hansome boy isn't he?
Thank you. Don't sweat the hair. Swimmers can alway so amazing things with their " chlorine hair" and a faux hawk is just one of them. It's not like he dyed it red and shaved off the sides now?
Don't think he hasn't want to try it.
Not my child but a friend back in high school. Mine just like to grow it shaggy in the winter to keep his head warm and cuts it short in the spring because it gets in his way.
Ty does this too.
I laugh when we take him for a hair cut, since he was in middle school when the lady would say " Mom, how would you like this?" I always let him tell her, and let her know it HIS hair. I always felt it was important for them (both my kids ) to be independant and have control of some things, like their hair. This way I could
guide the bigger things without much argument.
Good strategy!
I would make sure that poster stays home while he is away. For your sake more than his.
Thank you, I and another mom already put that out there to them right after they got them.
I looked at his friends and figured thery are a breaststroker and butterflyer type by build and then looked down to see I was right on.
Once a swimmer, always a swimmer.
Ty does mostly sprint freestyle event? 50, 100, 200? I see they all probably do IM as well.
