It does take alot of work to do a TR. Then to reply to everyone...sometimes just replying to people takes a few hours.:scared1:

Thanks...I may be slightly funny, but the other crazies here make it hilarious.:thumbsup2

I feel your pain.....

And love it just as much as you do!! :dance3:

Hi Jordan! I've been Lurking for a few days now and just caught up....whew! I wanted to tell you that I am sorry for some peoples ignorance. I have been through something similar however not to that degree. You see, I am a true blue Ginger Midget! (I love the Sherlock Holmes movie for coining that phrase). I am of 100% Irish descent. That means that I am barely 4 ft 11 inches with red hair and COVERED with freckles......did you hear me? I mean covered! Ok so maybe my situation isn't similar to yours but I was picked on and teased and people made me cry almost every day of my childhood life. I eventually grew up and realized that there isn't another person on this planet that looks like me! I am grown now and have kids of my own and I have made it a point to teach them that everyone is different and that noone is better than anyone else!
Here I am.....No makeup No nothing.....this was a few years ago right after I had my son.....I look stoned but I swear I wasn't.....at least I dont think I was.....lol
ry%3D400

and yes I know my hair is brownish in this picture......it was the only time in my life that I have dyed my hair and was not pleased.....I felt it took something away from being me!
party::welcome:party:

I love red hair and I LOVE freckles. You look awesome...even if you were stoned...;):rotfl2:

Thanks for coming out of lurkdom to show your support.

We aren't military, but rather do community development work in the middle of nowhere- literally. Nope- no choosing neighbors here.....

ours are so ignorant they stole our outhouse!! (and the land it went with) :lmao::lmao::lmao:

HAAAAAAAAHAAAAAAAAAAA :lmao::rotfl2::lmao::rotfl::rotfl:

Good thing you have a toilet inside that likes to explode every other week!!

I know!

Maybe we're the ignorant ones! :lmao::rotfl2::confused3

4 more months and you will never have to think about that toilet again! :goodvibes

150 something days, Pal!!

I move from outside toilets and crappy indoor cans, to the POWER FLUSHERS at the POP!! :rotfl2::lmao::rotfl2::lmao::laughing:

You won't have to worry about your bidness hitting the walls there!

(well I hope not anyways!) :lmao::lmao:

Poor Jordan's TR has been officially hi-jacked!pirate:pirate:

Love this chat...:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Ashlyn is 19.5 months old (born on 8/7/08....missed 8/8/08 by one day since our Dr. was going out of town on 8/8.....too bad because it would have been cool to have that as a birthdate).:thumbsup2

Then I'm betting she'll remember more than you think. My son was almost 15 months when we went and he talks about it all the time still. :)

Here's one of my favorite memories from BLT, beautiful sunrises, despite the cold weather....and hey, this is my first official photo post:woohoo:

Still love (and missing) the BLT.

Love  that shot !!!!:thumbsup2

Thanks for the kudos. They're cute now....until they become teenagers

Now that is a strange thing to steal!!!!!:rotfl2::rotfl2:
I don't know if I love frogs or not. I used to catch them at summer camp and play with them when I was a kid...I love watching them at AK....

I know I do NOT like Frogs !!:scared1:

I don't have the problem of it taking hours to reply on my TR !!:rotfl2:Jordan it's the price of FAME!:worship::rotfl2:

And who might these crazies be :confused3 Do I know any of them!!:confused3:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Until I saw you weren't single, I thought you might be "the one." :goodvibes

HaHa, If I were single I would fly to California today! Jordan would definitely be my type! I do have a wonderful Boyfriend for over 12 years, so I will just have to be another Peep in his fanclub!;)

I have a question-How do I quote one section to reply to, but delete the rest of the post that I do not want to reply on? When I try to, it does not highlight the quote in the yellow box.

Kathy, when you delete the part you don't want, make sure you leave in the box that denotes the end of the quote (or you can type it yourself) - it looks like this: [/QUOTE]

Great pics of the kids, although it makes me cold again to remember how bundled up everyone was! Although it may actually have been a little warmer when we were there a week later.

And I love the sunrise pic from BLT, Derek! :cloud9:

Finally, I am glad to say that no one has ever stolen my outhouse. :rotfl2:

Okay, time to get back to my own TR! I'm not even through day one yet!

Hey Jordan! Thanks for the update! It's performance weekend for the Easter play so I've been scarce of late. Luckily the church has WiFi. Hope all is going well out your way! Haven't had time to read all the banter yet, but I've skimmed a bit. I hope to be back more ofter after next week. Well, off to finish setting up for dress rehearsal. Take care brother!

Yes and I'm now realizing we'll have a 13 year old, a 16 year old and a 19 year old at the same time.

THREE TEENAGERS!!!!! :faint: Let's hope Erin goes away to college... Hee hee hee. ::yes::

Hi Wendy, your children are so beautiful! You and Derek seem like wonderful parents and I think when your three are teens you will have a lot of fun. Mine are 15, 17, and 19 and even though they can be trying at times, it is a joy watching them grow up. As they reach this age, they are becoming like me in good ways and bad-so it is an adventure!
It is so much fun reading Jordan's TR because we get to hear about his stories as well as your family's too.

I would love to visit Toronto someday!:thumbsup2 If only to see the Maple Leafs play...:)

I didn't know Toronto was so diverse.

You really SHOULD come for a visit! We're very multi-cultural. You wouldn't feel out of place at all (unless you're not used to that?). It's a very coloured city.

For our Leafs....???? Haha.....sorry, but even WE don't have much faith in our own team.....

I also learned back in high school that the church my family goes to is the largest Chinese church community in North America! Which was obviously pretty cool to find out. I loved the church retreats I went on with my class in high school. Reading about the one you went on really made me miss mine :sad2:

Key word there is "seem".....just kidding. I can't imagine life with 3 teenagers...that's 3 car payments followed by 3 college payments followed by 3 weddings (hopefully) followed by 3 home nests.....I'm already broke thinking about it :crazy2::sad::worried: I need a pixiedust:

Wow Derek, the car payments come before the college payments? In my family, the car is paid for by the kids! And that's long after the college payments, haha.

Good point, maybe they can walk to school, get some scholarships or go to a community college, not get married and live at home with us.....strike that...we'll pay to have them fly the coop....:rotfl:

Gorgeous photo... Ed would love to stay at BLT someday... he has always had this "thing" for the Contemporary!

Me, well, I would love to stay at a monorail resort, for sure!

I'm hoping we will get to see some up-close pictures of the kids enjoying that pool! :thumbsup2
Hopefully it warmed up enough for some swimming.

Kathy
