The return of "EARLY ENTRY" to WDW!!! Great news... starts on October 1st!

That is some great news, eh? Always a cool feature, I thought....

Beginning October 1: "Extra Magic Hour" -- one theme park will open an hour early every day to resort guests; Character Caravan will be discontinued;

I can't wait for more details!!

I was really enjoying not rushing out the door every AM to get there for early entry and sleeping a little later.

DH will sure be happy.....I on the other hand am glad it's offered for everyone else to enjoy. I'll be the cranky one being pulled along by my DH!

You are not alone. I will miss the character caravan also. We never used EE and now I dread them restarting. I always had to avoid the park that had it due to major congestion. I suggest we start an email campaign ditching EE! LOL!

I DON'T think it is asking too much for them to have BOTH! I mean, it is WDW! I always thought it was strange, before the caravan, that characters were not seen around the resorts(mods in particular since most Deluxes have character meals). I think each resort should have a character strolling about the place each and every day! Even if it was only a couple hours, maybe even in the evening. They could rotate a different character a day. JMHO !
