The Retreat Ceremony

When we went to Disneyland last spring, we noticed that some guests were allowed to take part in the Retreat ceremony at the end of the day. My husband is military and would love to do this, and was really bummed when he saw other people got to, and we didn't know how. So, when we back this year, how can we get him into it? Do you just have to be in the right place at the right time? Tell someone in advance? Know the right people?

When I was there in December. They announced each branch of the military and invited anyone that has served or is currently serving to step forward. So just be there for the ceremony (listed in the events schedule) and he can step forward when his branch is called.
