The restructuring is over at my place of work

I am so happy that no more restructuring will be happening at my place of work. We had an office meeting on Thursday with the head guy who oversees all US operations. He told us that restructuring was over that we can all relax . Last year people were let go during the holidays and many were speculating that they could let some more go again this time as well, so this is a good thing to hear.

I'm glad I read the post. I was pretty shocked at the title. It looked like a thread about someone being happy that restructuring was going to happen at their workplace. You probably should have titled it, "The restructuring is over at my place of work".

I'm so happy for you that it's over now and you can breathe easier.

Isn't "the restructing is over at my place of work" an oxymoron?

My DH's work restructures for every quarter shareholders meeting.

MM. that's what I was thinking - restructuring never seems to be over for long. DH's company told them the same thing, their division made money, so no more would be let go, at least for now. There was no mention of raises next year (there were none this year), but I am sure they are happy to still be employed and have health insurance.
