I love getting advice from so many of you on what are the great things you have eaten at WDW. We are going in December for our 20th anniversary and plan to eat and drink ourselves silly.

Here's my list of our ADR's. Any thoughts on what to order to eat and drink?
Thanks!

Citrico's dinner
Biergarten lunch- I know this is a buffet but is there any item I shouldn't miss?
Tutto's dinner
Marakesh lunch
Wishes Dessert Party- what's the best desserts to try?
Brown Derby lunch
Artist Pointe dinner
Grand Floridian Cafe lunch
Nine Dragons dinner

My advice is to take a look at the menus and you can find things that most appeal to your tastes.

The reason I'm hesitant about specifics is that sometimes menus change, but seeing a previous menu gives you an idea. And what I like to eat may be completely unappealing to you.

You might get others posting their favorites, but it's so subjective. For instance, I know people who LOVE the curries at Sanaa. I detest all Indian curries and would be turned off by them.

I have looked at...:guilty:almost memorized some of the menus on AllEars. You are right they do change some, especially at the Signature restaurants.

BTW, I hate curry too and refuse to make any recipe that has curry in it, but I tried the Shrimp in the green curry sauce at Saana and I loved it. But I'm still not making anything with curry in it at home.

If you like red meat AND like it on the rarer side, the buffalo at Artist Point is lovely.

Yep. You gotta like it RARE. I order steak medium rare & have eaten it more on the rare side, but my buffalo was VERY rare. I couldn't eat it. I liked DH's beef tenderloin much better.

More for AP:

We received the Smoky Portobello Mushroom Soup as an amuse bouche & DH absolutely loved it. I hate mushrooms, but found it to be actually pretty good.

The chocolate Indulgence is amazingly good.

It has been several years since we have done Brown Derby but they used to do a Salmon dish on top of polenta that I loved. Also thought the grapefruit cake was very good. But like I said it has been awhile so not sure you should trust my recommendations.

Wish I could eat with you, I have only done Citricos(I know my food was wonderful but aside from a yummy beet salad I don't remember what I ate) and Marrekesh on your list but I would love to try all the others!

Citrico's - I love the shrimp appetizer so much that I usually get it as an entree, with angel hair pasta added to it to make it a meal. I could eat bowls of that and be happy for life.

Biergarten - literally everything I've tried here (which was pretty much everything served) I love. Everything. People swear by their mac and cheese (it was good, but, you know, it's regular mac and cheese). The schnitzel and sausages are great, as are the roast meats, and many of the salads. But my absolute favorite is the cheesecake for dessert (also available at the QS place just outside of Biergarten, perfect to satisfy the craving you will inevitably have the next day :) ).

Brown Derby lunch - I get the Cobb Salad as an entree every time I go here. The pork chop is also very good, but I love the Cobb Salad, it's just as filling, and half the cost (if you aren't on the dining plan, a definite plus!).

Artist Point - I eat here so often they know what I'm ordering before I sit down - I love the mushroom soup (though their new beet salad is freaking awesome too); could not recommend the buffalo enough, but agree above, you need to like medium rare-rare to really like it, since it's shoe-leather when cooked longer than that; and their new pork dish is to die for as well. For dessert, you gotta try the cobbler (as long as you aren't averse to berries). Honestly, it's hard to go wrong here. Love their vegetarian dishes, and for my friends who eat fish, their salmon dish is superb (I can't stand fish, and I even liked the few times I've tried this). Their wine list is awesome, and I love this restaurant just all around (if you couldn't tell!).

Hope you have a wonderful time!

With buffalo you just can't take it past medium, so brown with some pink inside is pushing it. It really needs to be small amount of brown with a dark pink to red center. I find medium rare to be the best way to cook it (and I do cook it at home) It has waaay less fat than traditional beef therefore it dries out very quickly during cooking.

DH and I ate at Citriccos in March, food was excellent but....we ate our entire meal in 50 minutes, that was with a drink and an appetizer, no dessert. We were very disappointed at being rushed....basically no one in the restaurant. We are going again in March based on other folks encouraging us to give them a second chance.

Citricos - seriously, ANYTHING there is wonderful. I've been five times and never tasted anything less than amazing there. I'm always really impressed with their fish entrees.
The menu may change by December, but when I was there on Oct 29, they had a Beef Carpaccio appetizer that was out of this world good.
They seem to always have the Chocolate Banana Torte Dessert, and it's a winner. One of my all time favorite Disney desserts.

Brown Derby - Cobb Salad and Grapefruit Cake (only if you like Grapefruit though. I have read any reports of people who dislike Grapefruit liking this cake.

I had the Buffalo striploin at Artist's Point cooked medium rare and thought it was still way too tough. I'd go with lightly seared!

Tutto has fantastic lobster stuffed ravioli and the appetizer that cost $27 is well worth it. It gives you the opportunity to sample lots of different Italian foods and the Tiramsui for dessert is divine.

Citrico's dinner - The arancini (italian rice balls) and Italian filet

Tutto's dinner - Tomato salad and Short ribs (better than Citricos!)

Nine Dragons dinner - pepper shrimp and noodles or honey chicken, both are excellent.

Biergarten lunch- Apple Streudel
Marakesh lunch-We had a goat cheese appetizer that is different than the one on the menus on line. One of my favorite things on a recent trip. I would also recommend the Sultan Sampler. Three of us split two, and we each like something different.
Brown Derby lunch-Banana White Chocolate Toffee Tower. My favorite dessert at WDW.
Artist Pointe-I had a couple of good things there, but they are not on the menu any longer
Grand Floridian Cafe: Didn't eat anything amazing...it was good, but only tried it once.
