The reason marijuana isn't legal

it's for our kids' sake.
I am the proud owner of three college students and one middle aged husband. If marijuana were legal people like this would see their chance at freedom. They would encourage their mothers and spouses to take up just a little tiny bit of this. Once given a substance that would let me forget trying to enforce a curfew, worrying about my kids grades at college, attempting to nudge my dh in for a check-up, stressing over whether termites were hidden in my walls, if hair die causes cancer, whether I should be doing low carb or low fat, etc.. I don't think I would ever want to be without it. Moms everywhere would be the number one buyer.
Then teens and middle aged dh's would rule. It would take an average of 8 years to graduate college while the students attempted careers as pro-skateboarders, explored their interest in middle eastern philosophy, and took up professional basket weaving. Every driveway would have either a motor cycle, a deluxe monstor rv or a boat. Laundry would become disposable and bedrooms would never be cleaned.
Thus it is in our national interest to keep this demon weed illegal for our children's sakes.

I completely disagree.

Imagine the inventions us Mom's could come up with - having all day to ponder.

Our kids would surely appreciate the constant baking that would insue, as well. "Fresh baked Chocolate Chip Cookies, anyone?"

We would be a heavier bunch - I will admit - however, we'd be understanding, and compassionate in all matters. Or at least we could act like we were.

Leaglize it - for better parenting skills. ;)

You kill me :rotfl: :rotfl:

Fresh baked cookies!!! :rotfl2:

My Mother would have a much better relationship with my sister and I if she took a few hits now and again. She'd be so much more relaxed (as proven when she ate my magic brownies). and family holidays would be something people look forward to!

I think I need to ponder this. Over a very large martini. (hic)

and of course we would always build that great invention and bake those wonderful cookies........TOMORROW!

or we could get halfway thru the cookies and then not finish. Chips are just as good, right.
