It took me a total of 5 minutes, if that, to pack for our upcomming trip :thumbsup2.

It was my first time packing since having 2 OL's. We filled the second one with clothing the last trip so it make packing so much easier. We just have a duffle bag packed to refill the toiletries we needed and our carry-ons. I could not believe how easy it was!

Can't wait!!

We have our second locker filled with Christmas stuff and a couple of warm sweatshirts. I guess if we want to have clothes there we will need a third locker. You certainly make it seem like a great idea! Have a magical trip! :thumbsup2

I am SO looking forward to OL. We won't leave clothes, but will leave just about everything else and I cannot wait! No more trips to Walgreens for dumb things we forgot, etc.! Wahoo!

aw thanks...you do know how to make a boy smile. Glad we're able to help make your vacations more convenient.

Just wait until you get back home and you don't have anything to UNpack. That is MY favorite thing about our Owners Locker. Seriously, we have two lockers and have EVERYTHING we need for vacation there, including all of or our clothes, cosmetics, a pair of prescription glasses, and a digital camera. We can literally get on the plane with NOTHING but the clothes on our back and we are set for vacation. No packing, no UNpacking, and everything we need.

we just got back from a dual trip vero beach first and ssr second. john was at the airport right on time and off we went. there sevice is great.

That is what happened when we left our clothing in OL our last trip in January. No laundry and unpacking was easy. Wonderful!!!

I haven't left many clothes in ours. Just swim suits, night clothes, and a fleece for each of us for those December/January trips. Mine has so many other things in it though! I don't think I would leave many clothes anyway, since we tend to travel all different seasons. I usually only pack 3 outfits anyway and wash from there.

I too thought it was super easy to pack and unpack this time! We had one carry on plus our brief cases, and that wasn't even full!

That's us, too. I keep a spare outfit for each of us in case we check luggage (we usually do) and it doesn't show up. I also have swimsuits, PJs, swim cover-up and a set of running wear, including shoes. But no other clothes - I'd have to get a 3rd locker, but even then, I'm a bit too particular about my clothes to be apart from the ones I really like, and I wouldn't want to wear the clothes that I'd be okay with storing. The exception is one of those Mickey madras plaid sundresses from the madras line that is in all the shops right now. I got one of those, but I left it in the OL. No offense to the Disney wearers, but while it's just fine for Disney, I wouldn't ever wear it at home. ;)

There is only two of us, so we have ALL of the clothes we need for ALL times of year (shorts, t shirts, polo shirts, jeans, khakis, long sleeve shirts, sweatshirts, sweaters, bathing suits, light jacket, rain jacket, etc... everything except for a winter coat that you sometimes need in January. We take ours onto the plane if we are traveling that time of year). We use the space bags so we can "stuff" more things into the lockers. Works great.

I really love the idea of having all of our clothes down there. I think that we would probably be alright with t-shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, robes and maybe pj's. My concern about leaving shorts, slacks or jeans is that I would get there and they would not fit anymore. :sad1:

Wow! By the time we got our cosmetics, laundry needs, fleeces, night clothes, swimwear and kitchen necessities in ours, there was no room for all that too! I'd have to have several lockers to do that much! We also have a pair of walking shoes in ours for each of us, and that might be part of the problem....1 pair of size 12s and one pair of size 10's!!:lmao:

Oh, I forgot to mention we do have two lockers... One contains all of our clothes (stuffed into the space bags) and the other contains all of our cosmetic things, medication things, laundry detergent, fold up clothes hamper, other misc. things... PLUS our sandals, flip-flops, and sneakers. Both of the lockers are VERY full.

Sounds like we have the same lockers!! That is how we have it packed too and they are VERY full!!! :rotfl: It is so worth it though!

Yes, it is so worth it! We used to spend about two hours rushing around the house the night before the trip packing. Of course it always took longer than we thought, so we went to bed late and had to get up early to drive to the airport. And we always packed the same things each time. We are spoiled, and now I hate packing for non WDW trips.

We originally only made plans to rent one locker, but after we filled that one up we realized that if we filled a second one with clothes we wouldn't need to pack at all. We called and they brought us a second locker that very day. We packed what we didn't mind leaving in FL, and then went to the outlet mall and bought some inexpensive clothes to fill in what we needed (and also bought the space bags). Voila! Trips to WDW became so much easier!

It was when we got home from that first trip that we realized the pleasure of not UN packing.

Has anyone ever had a problem with getting "bugs" in their OL? I was thinking of signing up but this one thought holds me back.

I am looking forward to seeing my OL since I filled it for the first time in October. I only put "stuff" in, no clothes. But it will be nice to not have to pack all my liquids in double ziplocs, so they don't leak into my luggage. I also have a popup hamper, ponchos, first aid kit, 6 outlet power strip, ipod charger, etc. All that little stuff that takes up space.

Never heard of a problem. The covers on the lockers fit very tight so I think the only way bugs could get in is if the owner inadvertently allowed some in when packing the locker.

The lockers are in a climate controlled warehouse....I doubt John would let any bugs in!!:thumbsup2
