I missed the thread unfortunatly but feel for you I really do.

A cousin of mine works for Disney. This person has had many "run ins" with managment. This person has recently had a family emergency and had to leave. Now when they come back, they may not have a job anymore. This person loves Disney more than anything, which is evident of their house....and to have this many problems is just a shame.

I love WDW just as much as all of you, but I also know the other side. The castmember side. And its not all magic and pixie dust for them.

My heart goea out to all of the Cm's and you to Angie. Good Luck fighting the corporate mouse.

Ditto to all that Jipsy said. Before pointing fingers, I'd find out for certain who filed that complaint -- its highly likely that Disney employs people full time to search the net to gather information and that no one filed a complaint. Most large corporations do employ people who's sole job is to observe what is written on the net, its a free way to gather demographics and such.

I'm sorry that this has happened, and that your dream is in danger of being threatened. I've been around the boards for almost 5 years, and I have yet to come across someone who loves Disney more then you do.

AB - I noticed your absence and was wondering what had happened. I'm sorry to hear that you were subjected to all this junk as a result of an innocent comment made to your DIS friends. I was thrilled to finally meet you this past June. It was truly one of the highlights of my vacation. I'm glad to hear that Disney HR was able to see past this incident and realize just how much you add to the total WDW experience.

I'm sorry this happened to you. I can't believe someone would call your employer and complain about an internet thread. Someone needs to get a life! I hope you are reinstated soon.

On a side note I think people need to be careful about privacy issues. I've often worried about you posting your picture and where you work. You never know what kind of sicko is going to become obsessed and you are easy to track down. Please be careful.

I hope things work out for you. As people have posted, Disney does read these boards. I was asked by a Disney employee if I was "sixcats" after posting something on the DVC board years ago.

Unfortunately, there are also mean spirited people on the internet. I know of people from here and the RADP group that have been reported to their employers out of spite. They must lead pathetic lives.

A while back, I tried to get the stupid thirty day rule for WWTBAM-PI changed a while back and talked to a couple of Customer Service people and to the attraction manager. The Disney people I talked to were well aware of DIS and the attraction manager had seen the thread on the DB concerning the debate on the thirty day rule.

During the time that the debate on the thirty day rule was fairly hot and heavy, Disney found about a CM who had posted on that thread and that CM then requested that all of his posts be deleted. The CM evidently worked at MGM and at the attraction and Disney did not think that it was appropriate for him to comment on the attraction or the thirty day rule.

Bottomline, is that Disney does occassionaly read the DIS and CMs who post here should keep that in mind.

Angie, I am so sorry an innocent thread turned into suspension. I hope management can see how much you love all things Disney. I will pray it will all work out well. I was just getting ready to post a "Where in the World is Angiebelle" this morning when I saw your post. You must be really hurting. I am glad you're back, and hope you can know who your friends are. Maybe someone should send this thread to Disney so they all can see how much you're loved and how we all know your love for Disney.

Angie, I think that if a member from the DIS reported your thread to Disney, then that is just awful and the person should mind their own business, especially since you appologized.

However, everyone did warn you that Disney might come across that thread. It was a hard lesson to learn, but maybe now you will realize that people weren't attacking you. They cared about you, and knew how much you liked your job. They didn't want to see this happen to you. Hopefully now you can realize that no one (on that thread) was trying to attack you.

I'm sorry this happened to you Angie. A few people tried to warn you about this very thing happening, even pointing out past CM's that it had happened to as well.

Flkhou is right. Disney is ABSOLUTELY aware of what goes on here. While I am sure it is possible that someone reported you, I think it is JUSt as likely that someone from Disney saw it. They told you they had complaints, ask to see the complaints.
