Parla, how is your friend? Have you heard anything yet?

The surgeon called me today. He thinks that I have power of attorney. The floor nurse called him an idiot the other day but I think he only pays attention the medical stuff and not to anything else which is best for my friend so it's ok. She's not waking up yet. He said that they will probably insert a needle in her head to drain the air on her brain that was left from the gap the tumor left when they closed her up. He said it could take several days before she wakes up. Some other friends are going to see her tonight and I am going tomorrow since DH gets off early on Thursdays.

ok on here i am not going in to too much details because Parla doesnt like that stuff but basically you have Grant and Jason and a crew called TAPS (The Atlantic Paranormal Society) go and investigate places that have a history of paranormal activity.. so they go in and try to figure out what is causeing the noises or whatever it but totally open minded about paranormal stuff and then they analize all the stuff they get from the different equipment, they have the heat camea or whatever it is, that shows hot and cold in different colors, and one that catches sound that people cant hear.. like the human ear cant hear (and they have heard voices from it) and one that detects electonic activity.. like when a thing is trying to manfest it supposably pulls all the energy to one point in the room.. well they have something that catches that too... umm.. so yeah they go to the houses.. stay overnight and investigate and stuff and then they go and check it all out and try to "debunk" whats going on.. then they show that to the home owner/ business owner/ employee.. whoever it maybe...

and Jason and Grant work at Roto Rooter during the day so they know if its something going on with the plumbing and stuff.... its really cool..

Wow, you have quite a collection! I collect Tigger stuff. I would post a picture, but sadly it's all packed away in boxes since I'm moving soon. I'm sorry to hear about your hamster. My hamster, Shelly, died in 1999 but I still miss her.

hahaha I let Sharkey wear my first wedding gown as a halloween costume, do you think a divorce was in the future?

My mil wanted me to wear her gown and I wanted to save money so I begrudgingly agreed to look at it. It was hanging in her closet!!!!! It was all yellow and had what looked like a water stain down the back of the skirt area. I couldn't believe she stored it like that. Mine is vacuum sealed in a big box and looks like there is a ghost in it (reminds me of Beetlejuice every time I look at it) but DD could wear it when she gets married if she wants to.

You poor thing, that's such a shame as it's a lot on your shoulders. I do hope your friend does well as she comes out of the surgery. Glad some friends are going to visit her tonight. maybe the day she wakes up you'll be there. That would be good.

I actually do enter for trips for like 20 people sometimes. I would have to ask how the taxes worked though. If they could let each family have their own tax burden it would work out really well. I would way rather spend the trip with you guys than my own family.

There isn't a height requirement on that ride is there? I don't understand it. It was so hot when we were down there. To think the poor child was there and probably had nothing to drink or anything.
