Smart plan! My BIL just got into serious trouble with CC. He was charging everything to it and not telling my sis ... until the collectors started calling and my sis knew nothing about it...thought they had the wrong person.

Ouch!

Now they are going to counseling to learn how to handle money. His mom was one of those folks who just wrote checks and never balanced it or charged and never thought about how to pay...I'm sad for my sis though ...

aw man...that sucks...

the interest rates are just killing us......crazy high!!!!

My mom called today to say that they are going to OCNJ July 30 for 3 nights and invited me to go along...Isn't that close to you?

I think that is like an hour and half away.......

I would have to google it....

Have you been there before? It is one of the nicer beaches and boardwalk is cleaner that most...

Yeah, we spent our vaca almost every year at OCNJ when we didn't go to Disney. Last I was there in 1996.

We won't actually be in OCNJ, but close by in Pleasantville since the rooms are cheaper.

I think I'm going to get to bed. I know it's early, but I had possibly a little too much fun last night and I'm super tired today. Would have slept in but someone decided to mow their lawn really early this morning and I couldn't get back to sleep after.... Anyway... Goodnight!!

HI Honey, Yes Ocean City, NJ is about an hour and a half from you. It wouldn't be a bad ride at all for you to take DS. Their boardwalk is much smaller than Wildwood and more manageable for him I think. You should go meet her there!!!!

Ocean City's Beach isn't as big as Wildwood but it's a decent beach or at least it used to be. You have to buy beach tags for Ocean City's beach. You can get them for the day, the week or season.

How was camping?

Hi Tigger,
Camping was great but unfortunately we had a storm blow in suddenly while we were in the pool Sat and our awning was up, the storm broke it in half. We are so mad as our camper is only 3 months old and the awning is 28 feet long and we told the dealer it should have a center support bar and they said they are designed not to need them. Well it sure wouldn't have broken in half if it had the center support. It will cost about $600 to replace just the main beam that the canopy rolls up on then we have to replace the brackets and patch the awning material. Other than that it was great and we met a nice couple that camps around the same places we do so we're going to meet them again and hang out!
