The cemetary huh? I think you waited too long to try and patch things up. ;)

:lmao: :lmao: we decided to met on mutual ground you know...

we used to "hang out" in the cememtary... like see my grandpa, now my great grandpa, her uncle, and our friend... we figured it was the best place to sit and talk...

Nah, the only thread I have left to catch up on is DLMama's pre-trippie and then I wanted to start working on my TR while it was still half-way fresh in my mind. Plus it helps take my mind off of the friend dilemma that I have to deal with tomorrow.

Good Plan....Can't wait to hear all about your trip...

Hope all goes well with your friend.....:goodvibes

Looks like DH wants to watch a movie. I guess I will catch up with DLMama a little later. I'm going to take a notebook out to the couch and try to remember the order we did some stuff in so I can have an outline for my TR. I hate not being productive while I'm sitting on the couch. I'll probably clip coupons from today's paper too. ;)

I set it to record! I'll have my drool fest tomorrow while DH is at work!!!! :rotfl:

This is how you can tell when someone is really a good singer or not.......Unplugged..

He passed...He can sing and looks great too!!!

Just don't fall asleep...;)

wow......I didn't realize how long their contracts are! Are there shorter ones?

When a resort opens, they are [typically] for 50 years. So the older resorts like BCV, Boardwalk, Wilderness Lodge and Old Key West expire sooner. SSR expires in something like 47 years (I forget the date now).

You can get the older resorts for less $$ through resale sites.

Me too! I always loved science in school! The way he cooks makes sense to me! He tells you WHY to stop stirring, etc. Rachel Ray can teach me a recipe, but Alton Brown teaches me how to cook!!! ::yes::

I agree! I like to know the why!!!!

Sweet! I heard DH on the phone just now with one of the cub scout parents saying how he disliked BWI and really liked AKL and it made me sad that we can't afford to buy into the Villas at AKL. I think I heard that they are totally separate from AKL. Do they have their own food area? That's a huge selling point for us. I hate to think how maybe we could do it so many years from now considering that the kids are young now and the price will go up every year.

AKV right now is just the 4th and 5th floors of the existing building. But in late 2009, the brand new and separate building will be open. It will have all its own water area (pools, playgrounds) a new restaurant and I can't remember if it will have a food court or not...ince DVCs at least have a kitchenette or a full kitchen...

Also remember, you can buy at a cheaper resort (like on resale) and stay at any of the resorts (based on availability) so you aren't "stuck" with just one.

You can pay for it outright or finance it...whichever works for you. We sold stock so we didn't have to finance it. For us that made better sense since I hate, hate, hate owing $$. I'm the type of person who always pays my CC off each month.

DD just went to sleep. ARGH!!

First her leg got caught in the crib up to her knee and she was wailing away. Then DH went in to soothe her. She wanted milk. Then DH put her back in the crib and she started wailing again. So I went in. Read her 2 books and did "shoulder time" (sing while she is on my shoulder). Put her in crib, left the room and she is wailing away again. I looked on our monitor and saw her leg was in between the rails again. Went back in to soothe her and then let her cry for another 15 minutes but now she is asleep.

Whew!

She ususally isn't that tough to get to sleep...maybe it's her 2nd molars that are coming in...we can see the bumps on one of them.

You are very smart...Our ccs are too high to pay off every month,,,,

you live and learn.

We plan on getting a 2nd mtg and paying of our high interest ccs and closing all of them minus like 2 small ones for emergency....

aww...poor dd....

How much longer is she going to be in a crib for? if awhile, maybe you should get some crib bumpers to prevent her leg from getting stuck in the rails.

We used some sort of pain gel to put on DS molars and he slept great!!!

Smart plan! My BIL just got into serious trouble with CC. He was charging everything to it and not telling my sis ... until the collectors started calling and my sis knew nothing about it...thought they had the wrong person.

Ouch!

Now they are going to counseling to learn how to handle money. His mom was one of those folks who just wrote checks and never balanced it or charged and never thought about how to pay...I'm sad for my sis though ...

I hope to keep her in the crib for a while longer ... maybe until 18???? :rotfl2: Seriously, once we get preggo, then we'll have to make the transition so baby #2 can have the crib.

It's nice knowing once she is in the crib, she can't get out (at least not yet -- she hasn't realized she can climb out). Someone gave us a free toddler bed so I have it when we need it...

Hey, trentmom.

My mom called today to say that they are going to OCNJ July 30 for 3 nights and invited me to go along...Isn't that close to you?
