The RC Weight Loss Support Thread. We're making a BIG change!

Since I started watching about 3 weeks ago I'm down about 10 pounds! :cool1:

how exciting! im staying for 8 days. This is my first trip in a while where im not going with friends or extra family. just the four of us!

maybe ill lose a little bit before then eh?:confused3

I need to lose about 25lbs. by the end of August (my bd month). I'm not having much luck with my will power. It's take out & snacking at night that gets to me. To add to my lack of will power everyone in my family is normal to thin & they all can eat whatever they want, so there's always stuff in the house, or they're going pick up food. Does anyone have any advice on how to resist the take out and eating in night? It's like I can't stop eating once I've started.:sad1:

Weight Watchers is really helping me with that! I think it's because I can eat absolutely anything I want as long as I stay within my points for the day and week. Maybe that would help you as well?

Also, I keep tons of fruits and veggies on hand so when I feel like having a snack or i get hungry before bed (never fails!) I have a healthy snack to munch on.

That would be GREAT!!!! I have 3 or 4 coupons left.....online is a definite possibility! my weigh in was today....down 1.4.....now 201.5 on home scale, and 202.6 on WW scale with clothes on!

our little town has a CURVES for Women and are offering a month free trial....I decided to try it our for a month as ANYTHING is better than the nothing I've been doing exercise-wise lately! :)

Good for you!!! I didn't do so well today. I ate a but if my weekly points in addition to my dailies. I did get a lot of walking in though so hopefully it wasn't a total crapshoot. I guess I'll see on Tuesday when I get on thr scale!

you sound like you are making good choices Dani! Keep it up , and I'm sure Tue will be great! :cool1: for all the exercise! That's where I need to set it up! Or rather, take that first step altogether!!! :guilty:
 
Hi All!! :wave2:

Been busy the last 2 weeks or so … have been trying to eat less, some days it works, other days I snack a bit too much. Like today I had a bagel ... not good, but I will have less at lunch.

I’m back trying to exercise about 3-4x a week at the Y, and then hopefully will start walking in the early AM before head out to work. We will see how that works. I've actually thought about trying to get to the Y at 5:30am :scared1: for a workout. It sounds good when I'm contemplating it at lunchtime. :rolleyes:

Went for a nice bike ride on Sunday, it was beautiful here in PA.

GG: I agree with Marie on the chips …. Just put some in a bowl and tell yourself you will just eat what’s in the bowl – no more. If I have a bag in front of me, it’s over. The bag will be finished in no time. :goodvibes

Dani: Congrats on the 10 lbs weight loss – you go girl!! :banana: Many people like WW, and it sounds like it’s working for you.:thumbsup2 Hope the scale was nice to you today. :)

Marie: As you know it goes on a pound at a time, so congrats on losing a bit more! It all adds up! :cool1:
 
How are my RC peeps doing? I was down another 4 lbs at weigh in this week! And that was after a catered family event. It definitely was a relief!
