Has anyone seen the "Catholic Come Home" commercials? They're all over TV, because our churches are advertising exactly what the title says, for Catholics to start coming back to church.

Apparently, it's working. We have to get to church fifteen minutes early so we can be secured a seat. So many people have to stand in the back. And my church is HUGE, it can easily hold around 800-900 people. And we were all PACKED in there.

Okay, it's working.. so let's tone down the advertising because I don't like being squished in there like a pancake.

i go to a cathedral, dear, and there's never enough room D': and it's huuuge!

"Nazi Germany surrender to the United States on May 7th, 1945.

Chuck Norris was born on May 6th, 1945.

Coincidence? I think not."

ohmygosh. Hahahahahahaha, I love Chuck Norris

The Disneyland version of BTMR is better than the MK version...

Yeah it is. I watched a few videos. If the MK version added the part where water is shot out from the track, it would be so much better than DL's. I heard that MK is going to be doing a big refurb on BTMRR in the future, when I heard about the lap bars on SM.

Well, that's because you're in England, where a huge percent of your population is Catholic. There aren't a lot of Catholics in the South... but now because of that advertising, so many people are coming back to the church. It's pretty crazzzzzy. And it's even more crazy that people have to stand when our church holds 850 people...

the highest temperature received was 38.5 °C (101.3 °F) on 10 August 2003

oh god I REMEMBER THAT SUMMERRRR!!
because our poorly equipped english houses meant that we didn't have fans or air conditioners, and we just sat outside all day, and we ate dinner & lunch out there and there were so many wasps and it was fun going in the car because it had air conditioning LOL

...That was the highest it's ever been where you live? Dannnnng.

From Wikipedia:
"The highest recorded temperatures were 104 °F (40 °C) on September 6, 1954; and 104 °F (40 °C) August 9–10, 2007 during the August 2007 Southeastern heat wave"

I wasn't alive for the '54 heat wave. But the '07 one was not long ago... and it was pretty bad.

But not that bad, we get around 100 °F all the time during the summer.

Pretty much everyone here is Christian in some way. There are a few people of Islam culture, and we do have quite a few Jehovah Witnesses. They're really nice (: but I don't like how they force their religion upon me.

Florida get's pretty hot. But that's good. (:

The hottest temperature ever recorded in Florida was 109 °F (43 °C), which was set on June 29, 1931 in Monticello. The coldest temperature was −2 °F (−19 °C), on February 13, 1899, just 25 miles (40 km) away, in Tallahassee.

I wish it would warm up here more.

And I wish that either library system I use would just add Up to their DVD catalog already.

104 was the highest it had been in my city, but in all of NC, it got up to 110 before- "The hottest temperature on record for our state was measured in Fayetteville on August 21, 1983, when the mercury topped out at 110 degrees." Hahahaa, we beat Florida!

The lowest temperature- "the lowest temperature on record for the state was measured near the top of Mount Mitchell in Yancey County on January 21, 1985. The temperature that day reached a minimum of -34 degrees Fahrenheit. "

So, highest= 110 F and lowest= -34 F

Not looking forward AT ALL to this upcoming schoolweek. Two mid-year exams on Monday and then I have something everyday after school until 5. Yeah, time management will be helpful, if I had any :(
