Aww your dad sounds awesome. When my first boyfriend broke up with me, I called my dad in tears to come pick me up from a friends house. We stopped at a super target, got ice cream and he bought me the Holiday. He also offered to go cut his [bad word] off. I told him that would not be necessary lol

haha my dad is an umpire and keeps a bat by the front door. No lie. I am almost 18 too. haha. He really is not that bad though, he just makes a lot of jokes about it, he really is cool around the guys I bring home to meet him lol.
