My journal in English today had to be about something that had five sections. GUESS WHAT I WROTE ABOUT? New York City. It's 5 sections: The Bronx, Brooklyn, Staten Island, Queens, and Manhattan.
I just had to explain them.
The Bronx: The New York Yankees hold their newest stadium here. The Yankees have won the most World Series of any team in the MLB (27). They have also won the most championship games out of any sports team in ANY sport. They have been voted the Most Famous Team in the World for this reason.
Brooklyn: You may have heard of the symbolic Brooklyn Bridge in New York.
Staten Island: While SI is very close to New Jersey, it is indeed one of the five boroughs of NYC
Queens: It is the largest in size of the five, but has the second highest polulation, behind Brooklyn.
Manhattan: This is where 9/11 took place. The Twin Towers once stood here. And today Manhattan holds the Empire State Building, the famous Macy's store, Times Square, and so much more.
