I think my camera was about £120, but I don't know how decent you want... I would say £200 could get you a good enough camera, maybe? Depends on the type you want. Shoot & point or DSLR?

Actually, maybe bump that up to £300-£400... So that would be... 15-20 weeks? That would be around 3-5 months...

I'm sure I had that camera at some point! Well, a point and shoot would be suitable. The top rated camera on PC World is around £270 (converted from $429), so £300 would be the best bet.
