Argh i'm so wound up about tomorrow.
So what if Commie doesn't like fillers and jumps which he's never seen before and has a trainwreck of a round? Or on the other hand is insulted by their lowness and knocks them all down? It's a learning experience for us both and we have nothing to prove.

You can call me Hazzi and my goodness no i'm awful, I compete at a very low level for fun because yes I enjoy it when (on the rare occasions) I get a rosette but to me as long as I had a good round it doesn't matter. I do want to get to the royal welsh for showing with my new pony but that's going to take a huge amount of work. I'm not really competitive unless it's at my old yard because the shows there are aimed at beginners so I know that I do have a chance. Tomorrow I know I have no chance of placings so i'm going to school my pony (I've had him 3 weeks, he's my first pony and he's not a show-jumper by any means he jumps yes but he doesn't like unusual or brightly coloured poles or fillers and unfortunately the show tomorrow is all about wavy poles and ridculously bright fillers, he's either going to ignore them because for the 2ft and 2ft3 the fillers won't be right under or it's going to be a trainwreck).

And that would be awful. Riding for me is a huge source of relaxation and a stress release. I would just die if I lost Lady.

Same here (well except with Comet)!
Going through the forests after school and on long hacks on the weekends just takes your mind off everything and it's nice
I was out for 3 hours with my friend today, it was so much fun. We came across a tiny tiny stream (maybe 1ft wide?) and my friend was like I wonder if my horse will jump it so she trotted him over it and Comet was still walking so I didn't think he'd jump but he did this massive leap xD Then later on we were cantering and the field sort of goes down like stepping off a kurb and onto the road almost, it's not much at all but nooooo mister commie decides to leap off it

Except i'm only 14 now and I did 3 years just riding once a week, 2 riding for 3 days a week and now i've had my pony for 3 weeks so i'm still quite novicey especially when compared to people who've been riding 5years and have always had their own pony

I never manage to use all the texts I have on my contract.
Though I do text a lot more now to keep in touch with everyone at the old yard and texts to Lizzie to see when she's riding always end up as huge venting sessions (and i'm also well known for sending my bestie texts in the early hours because she never gets up and also to give her 5 mins warning that we're going down the yard and she can come if she wants) xD
