I must get pictures of Comet. Show-jumping tomorrow only entering the 2ft and 2ft3 maybe 2ft6 though and it's our first show together so doubt we'll be any good. Maybe i'll get some of us in the forest if I ask Lizzie nicely.

Saturday is a day to usually ride for me and then just relaxation.

they're filled with loads stress and no relaxation at all.
family usually comes over, i have to wake up early, then it's church time, which to tell you the truth, isn't really fun.
i basically don't get to relax AT ALL today.
my parents just left for breakfast, & i have to go soon to clean the house.
sorry if i'm whining though, i usually don't whine...

X-country to me is a form of jumping
I dabble in a bit of everything.
My new pony has shown at national level (kinda) so I think i'm going to go more down the showing and dressage route but I do quite a bit of show-jumping and X-country as well. Le Trec is an awesomely fun type of competition that i've recently got into with my old loan pony. Obviously just normal hacking and schooling is good Gymkhanas are not my scene though, never have liked those regardless of the pony I was on.

Wow, CrazyChik you must be really good. I do more riding for my own enjoyment of it then any competitions. I just love being up there and just really experiencing the full strength of my pony as she goes and I work her out. If I ever would decide to do something in the field with horses, I would either be an Equine Vet or a Trainer.

You can call me Hazzi and my goodness no i'm awful, I compete at a very low level for fun because yes I enjoy it when (on the rare occasions) I get a rosette but to me as long as I had a good round it doesn't matter. I do want to get to the royal welsh for showing with my new pony but that's going to take a huge amount of work. I'm not really competitive unless it's at my old yard because the shows there are aimed at beginners so I know that I do have a chance. Tomorrow I know I have no chance of placings so i'm going to school my pony (I've had him 3 weeks, he's my first pony and he's not a show-jumper by any means he jumps yes but he doesn't like unusual or brightly coloured poles or fillers and unfortunately the show tomorrow is all about wavy poles and ridculously bright fillers, he's either going to ignore them because for the 2ft and 2ft3 the fillers won't be right under or it's going to be a trainwreck).
